When I was working, I never had weekends off. In fact, most of my shifts have been either the early morning weekend shift or the evening shift, but always weekends.

Which is part of the reason I'd like to switch to a more normal job, hour wise.

Well since I work for myself I can pretty much take whatever days I want off ;) But I will work weekends when I have a project that needs to be done.

I only work Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. BUT, they are 12 hour shifts from 6AM to 630PM. Those can be some seriously LONG days if you know what I mean!

With starting a new job on monday i am not sure what days i will be off. i requested sundays off at least in the mornings for church. he is going to try his best to schedule me off those days.

Weekends are my time with my kids, so no, I will not take a job anymore if I have to work weekends.
