Hi Mocha3! I'm a soon-to-be bride too! We are getting married on Aug 28, 2004. I still have a ways to go but we are pushing through as much as we can. My FI is in college and will be graduating in December so he can't really spend to much time with wedding stuff. :cry: So, I get the stress for myself, but I'm enjoying it so far. Hopefully we can help each other out with planning. :D

Hello all I am new to this site and I plan on enjoying myself here if anyway possible. I am planning my own wedding. I am getting married April 17, 2004. And I am having fun with the planning of my wedding and all. This is my second time of getting married and my b'f's second time as well. The first time there wasn't much of a wedding it was just going to a jp and saying I do. So this one is the 2nd and last and so I am planning it this time so I can have it like I want it with all my family and friends there to watch me get married. So it is a big experience for me.

Hello, I am new to the site and am excited about getting married. I am getting married in Scotland on July 29, 2004. It is stressful trying to plan everything online with my wedding consultant but you have to do what you have to do. Good luck to everyone else who is getting married. Just remember when you get really stressed don't forget to take a break for a day or so. I have found that that really helps. Good luck! :lol:

Hi, I'm newly engaged and getting married on May 20, 2004. Yep, it's coming up and I haven't even been engaged a month. But I'm planning a small garden wedding for about 50 people so I'm not too worried...I think I found the perfect ceremony/reception location today. But I'll let you know in a couple of months just how naive these comments were. :D

I amtrying in vain to plan a wedding in southeast Michigan for May 07,2005 and I am having a hard time finding a ceremony and reception site in my area that is available, and in my price range. I have an inredibly small budget. There will beapproximatley 100 guests. If anyone has any suggestions as far as wedding locations in my area, or justhas ideas to cut costs on anyaspect of my ceremony and/or reception please reply. Ineed all the help I can get. I got married just a week ago. I have looked for a perfect dress for 2 long years, untill one day, I saw a dress in a martha stewart magazine. THe dress is made by Stephen Yearick. I called all the vendors, posted requests all over the websites asking whether anyone would have it. THe answer was NO!! I have found it in a store located 400 miles away from me. I flew there just to try the dress, it was amazing, however, I could not afford it. It was $3, 500. I could not imagine spending so much money for just one day!! Untill a genius idea came to my mind. I know a seamstress, who is a close family friend from Israel. She makes wedding dresses for a living. She actually works for a desighner in Israel. So I contacted her, sent her a picture of the dress, my measurements, she showed me the progress of the dress over the internet. HSWe shipped it isn a small bag , the one that has all the air sucked out. What can I say, the dress is gorgeous. I have gotten so many compliments on this dress at my wedding.

Anyway. It is strapless. THe top is completely beaded with crystals. The waist is not straight. It is lower than the actual waist line and it goes at an angle. One side goes toward the hip more than the other side. The skirt: it is bunched up all around, with crystals attached to each "bunched up part". The back: Open back, (no bra required, with a string going across the back in a triangular fashoin.

I wear size 2, but it can fit up to size 8, because you can adjust the back with the string. In addition the skirt comes separately, so the button can also be adjusted accordingly.
