Being raised in Phoenix, Arizona, we paid absolutely no attention to this. Our winters are like the east coast's summers. We wear anything we want, all year round. :grinhappy:

I don't pay any attention to this. I have some great white and slightly off white sweaters that I have worn to holiday gatherings. I don't wear white shoes that often, execpt for athletic shoes.

I don't really care about it either...
But I'm pretty clumsy and accident prone. Plus, I have a baby. So, I don't have many clothes that are white. Baisically my wedding dress and a pair of bermuda shorts.. Oh, and a couple of button up shirts, too.

Absolutely not. We don't get cold, wet, rainy, slushy weather here until November usually. Until the middle of October we are still in summer clothes. I have better things to worry about. The only thing I do is use common sense. It if has been snowing or raining and is all dirty and slushy, maybe it isn't the best day to wear the white pants.

Nope. I like white alot!
I wear my white capri's until the snow flies. Then i have lots of white hoodies and shirts, i would get a white coat if i knew it wouldn't get all gross in the winter. Can you imagine brushing up against a car in a parking lot and getting a dirt smear on it. UGH! I plan to get myself a white touque and scarf this year to go with my grey coat.

Oooh, I can only immagine about the white coat, Jen. That's a job too big for my Tide Pen. :D

I have never paid much attention to this at all. If the weather is still warm enough I don't care. I was raised that this was a big taboo.

I actually read Cosmo or Bazaar or some other fashion magazine that said that tradition is not actually valid anymore and you can wear white all year round if you want. I read it a few months ago.. Feb or March or something.
