I know that pantyhose is one of those things that might depend on climate. Just curious... Do you even own a pair? :bbmrgreen:

I live in Phoenix, Arizona. They are against the law here. :D

I own them, but rarely wear them. In the summer I can't stand them, too hot. And in the winter, I'd rather wear pants.

I own lots of them. I used to be required to wear them to work. In the winter I wear them to church or even tights. I don't wear them in the summer though.

Only in the winter time to church. I can't imagine wearing them in summer here where the humidity makes them cling to your legs and anything else they come in contact with. ugh!!!!!!!!!!!

I just don't wear them. I don't own them. I think that they're not really all that fashionable, so I don't buy them. :bbmrgreen:

Been to Phoenix several times, do they even sell them there?? haha
I do wear support hose at work because my legs get fatigued from standing so much and they do help prevent varicose and spider veins.

I rarely wear dresses and skirts anyway and when I do I either go bare legged or just wear stockings (thigh highs or knee highs) And I never wear the nude kind, I don't think they are fashionable and I couldn't find the right color for my skin tone anyway ;) :p
And OMG, no one should ever wear stockings of any kind with open toe shoes! :bblol:

Yes, Hanes does. When I worked for Dillard's alot of people would buy them to go with prom dresses or other formals. They also sold them in knee highs. It also worked for people with dress codes at their jobs that said they had to wear socks or pantyhose.

Cool, that makes sense ... my sister has a similar dress code where she works, except in the summer they can wear dress sandals without anything.

I'm sure if I looked there would be a pair or two. Frankly though, I will not wear them. I don't care about the weather. They are a huge fashion no no. There is nothing worse in the world that seeing some pale person walking around with brown legs. Or worse, black or white legs. Who thinks that looks good?
FYI: My mother in law worse full panyhose (in a silvery white color) with silver open toed dress sandals to my wedding.

I rarely wear them, but I rarely wear skirts or dresses, either. I like them b/c my feet sweat less and make my shoes more comfortable. If at all possible, I like to wear colors that match my outfit mostly black. If it is a day time event, I will wear nude ones, but they have to be light to match my skin tone.

LOL, I always thought the nude ones were worse. I have worn the black ones, but I won't wear nude or white ones.
I am pale and I don't care, most of the time if I wear a dress or skirt I won't wear any at all, but I usually just wear pants ;)
The last time I wore stockings (black ones) was to a funeral and it was mostly because it was cold and I hadn't shaved my legs ;)
As for stockings with open toe shoes, I see this most often in older women ;)
Now DH likes me to wear stockings and a garter belt on occasion

I have to wear them for work. I will wear them with my open toed dress shoes as well. They dont have a lined for the re-enforced toe thing. That I would only wear with other shoes. I buy the ones that dont have that as my one pair of shoes tha tI love is open toed and I wear those ones most of the time. If I am going to a wedding or some where I have to dress up I will wear pantyhose. I buy the nude kind. I am not pale by any means but am not dark either. The look just fine. I do hate gettign ready for work when it is hot. Rather it is putting on my make up or my panty hose. It is jsut a pain. A girl I used to work with said her boyfriend said it looked like she was putting on a second layer of skin. I dont wear any other color then the nude ones. If I am wearing dress pants to work I will wear black slack socks and with the ones I just bought they are almsot like nylons. THey look great with my shoes. The others I have Iwouldnt wear with these shoes though.

I do own some but I only wear them for work. We are required to wear them but in my new position we dont really have to dress up. Its more casual/business. I usually just wear my nikes.
