Congrats on the wedding! March - May are perfect for spring colors like those you mentioned. Gerber daisy's are one of my favs and come in lots of colors as do roses. Yellow, purple and pink is not too much. You could pick one for the girls dresses and use the other 2 in thier bouquets and you can use all 3 in yours. It is probably a good idea to look at magazines to get ideas and take pictures to the prospective florists you met with.
You can save money on centerpieces by using loosely cut flowers in vases rather than structured ones.
Best of luck and happy planning!

Yellow, pink and purple are my 3 favorite colors! I'm using pink and purple as my signature colors for a business I am starting soon. They are great choices!!
Bluebird roses are a good choice for the purple color you've chosen. They would go great with yellow daisies as a filler in any of your arrangements.
Here's a website to research other flowers for your wedding.

Good luck!

The above posters are right. Keeping those colors, you can have a light and airy spring wedding that looks wonderful.
One of my Bridesmaids worked in catering and saw hundreds of weddings, and she's told me that the ones with the fewest colors looked the most elegant and timeless. She told me about one that ended up looking downright circus-y because of the clashing colors.
Yours will look great, and keep us posted!

I agree; I have been in wedding photography and wedding planning and I have seen some pretty "circus-y" weddings myself
But I don't think 3 coordinating colors such as the ones you chose would be bad at all! Just keep it at no more than 3 colors and don't go overboard with it
On a related note, I found some 'fun facts' about flowers today, I thought I would share here ...
So why do we carry flowers at the wedding? The tradition of carrying flowers is thought to have originated in late 1500's, The bride would carry a small bouquet of fresh herbs and flowers to mask possible body odor as they only took a bath once a year.
During even earlier times when the fear of "evil spirits" was most prevalent, brides carried stinking bouquets of herbs and spices to frighten the demons away.
This is said to be where the term "Nosegay" comes from. (Nosegay is a term generally used by florists, referring to the popular round shape bridal bouquet)
Best wishes and happy planning!

I have been to several purple and yellow weddings. They always look nice in the spring and summer. My advice would be to do mostly yellow and either purple OR pink. Then just use the other in accents like tutcked into bouquets and on stationary. The colors can look fine together but too much of all three could start to look more like Easter and less like a wedding. And keep the colors in complimentary tones either all soft or all bright, ect.

Oh! I forgot! Shamrocks are pretty fillers for your centerpieces.. You could simply grow some in little containers (I've seen mini flower pots for less than a dollar each at wal-mart) and people can take them home with them.

They don't have alot of yellow in them but I think you can get the an idea of what the colors look like together in a bouquet.
