Mine is a halter. I picked this because I felt it looked better on my body and I am felt naked in a strapless. They are very pretty though!

My dress was strapless. I didn't care one way or the other about the sleeves/straps. I liked it and was comfortable in it.

My dress has long sleeves. I t was one thing that I was set on when looking for a dress. No particular reason, except that I liked the way that it looked.

Being that I got married using the Hindu traditions, my dress was really not a dress... it was a skirt and a top. The top had short sleeves, though. It was pretty elaborate with the beading. But, I liked it!

I've got DD's.. There had to be straps! :bblol:

I wore a sleeveless dress, as you can see. Loved it!

That was part of my problem too! I wear either a 34 DD or a 32 DDD.

But, if you really want to go strapless, you can always tape 'em down! ;)

My dress is strapless, those are pretty much the only ones I tried on and they felt better on me.

My dress was strapless. If i was going to have straps i would have had spagitti straps. There was cap sleeves on it originally that i had taken off because they were hideious.

Ihave spaghetti straps - mainly cos the dress i liked had them - as im large busted i thought it would be better but i might take them off as they dont actually help hold anything up anyways!! xxx

My dress was not a wedding dress. I wanted to wear something that I could also wear again to church. My dress had no sleeves and I also had a jacket that I wore over it. It is ivory with pink roses w/green leaves on it.

Strapless. I would normally want something with sleeves just because I like long sleeves and I'm getting married in January, but I'm wearing a fur down the aisle and the strapless dress my sister MADE me try on I dearly loved! It has a side drape that really accentuated my waist and I really liked the cut. I have a chiffon shrug to wear at the reception so I don't get too cold.

Yes it is very hard to find bathing suits, bras, and other garments. I like my halter gown. I did try some sprapless gowns on, I just didn't feel comfortable in them probably because I never wear anything strapless.

Orgirl1969, please tell me that it's faux fur? :(

No it's real. BUT, it belonged to my best friends grandmother and it's about 50+ years old. If I were to buy a fur now, regardless of the cost-prohibitive issue, it would most certainly be faux. I don't think I could live with myself if an animal had to die just so I'd look good. :(

I haven't bought my dress yet, but it will be strapless. I have an idea which one I want. I love it and cant wait to go try it on.
