Would you prefer to be behind the camera or in front of it?
Let us know why

Behind it. I love taking the pics, but, I may break the lens if it's one me too long.

In front of it! First b/c I take terrible pictures, there is not an ounce of photog in me and second, it does make me feel good that I would be someone that would be important enough to be in the pic or important enough to someone else to even want a picture of me.

I love taking pictures myself. More often then not i am behind the camera. If people are taking pictures arround me i try not to pay to much attention to it because i think i look like a total dork if i am posing for a picture. lol.
My SiL is terribly camera shy. She will hide her face every time. She did pose and i think had a good time at the wedding for all the pictures. She's getting better. But she's terribly camera shy.

I like taking pictures not being in them ;) Sometimes if I'm prepared, pictures of me can be ok, I love digital pictures so I can delete the pics I don't like ;)
Half the time I usually end up with some stupid look on my face or I just feel I look fat (yes this is my fault) ... it is these reasons I hate most of our wedding pictures :(

I hate having my picture taken. There's always something I will hate about it. So I just would prefer not having it taken at all. I don't usually take pictures either. But if I had a choice I would rather take them, than get them taken. :D

I don't mind being in front of the camera. Let's face it, I love me! The only time it gets on my nerves is when my mil is around. She feels the need to document everything to the point that it ridiculous. A few weeks ago we had the in laws over for dinner. She had to have me pose while cooking on the grill because I kept looking like I was concentrating. (Of course I was concentrating, I was in front of a 50 degree gas grill!) I had to pose loading the dishwasher. My dad and I had to stage him entering because she wasn't around to get the pciture when he got there. It is really annoying. Anymore I try to go along with it to a point, but there have been a few times that I have told her where that camera was going to end up. (And she wouldn't like those pictures.)

Wow.... THat is a bit crazy! My aunt is a bit camera crazy. This past Christmas i could have sworn the paparazzi where at the house.
Mark and i decided we want more pictures of family events and everyone. When my grandmother died him and i were in charge of making a photo collage of her life to show at the visitations. It was really wonderful going through all her photos and seeing her wonderful life. We hope to have more pictures for our family to enjoy the same way one day.

I'm with almost everyone else.. I love to take pictures, in fact, DH and I have made a bit of a hobby taking pictures. But, I never like the way I look in pictures, unless I'm wearing lots of makeup. And since I rarely wear makeup, most pics of me I won't like automatically!!

It doesn't matter much to me one way or another. I love having my picture made and I enjoy taking pictures as well. It seems I end up being behind it more than in front of it though. When we get pictures developed most of the time everyone is asking where is the ones of me, forgetting I am the one taking them most often.

I dislike being in front of the camera. Im usually the one taking the pictures anyways. Occasionaly its nice if someone takes over for me, just so I can see that I was actuallly there lol. Or else thats where I usually am, taking pics.

I prefer behind the camara. Mostly because I have had bad acne for about 10 years. I am finally getting rid of it but was always very selfconious and hated seeing my "flaws" in the pictures. I still have a lot of scars from it so I prefer to not get my picture taken. I have started to notice I am pretty good at taking pictures of objects and landscapes, so I've been doing a lot of that.
