Kevin and I went out the other afternoon with our maid of honour/wedding planner, and one of our flower girls.
We'll be celebrating our reception at Toronto's Centennial College Residence. Don't let the idea of it being a students residence fool you the residence is an old hotel that still offers the banquet facilities and a gorgeous atrium. And to top it off because it's considered a residence the cost goes WAY DOWN! Plus I graduated from that school and because I belong to the Alumni I get a special discount card for the rooms. $50 a room!
Plus, the room that we picked is due for construction and updating, and by the time our wedding comes around all of this will be completed. THe facility also offers an indoor pool, a jacuzzi and a games room.
The flower girl was just extatic that there was a gigantic dance floor!
Once I get back over there i'll add some pics. Kevin brought his camera but forgot extra batteries which died IMMEDIATLY! There's lots of time though.
