If you could change something about your life what would it be?

DH and I were talking about this sort of thing the other day. The way we see it, our biggest obstacles in our life are money and family drama. We think both of these things can be fixed and moved past on some level. Once we do that all the other things we want out of life will be easier to attain. So overall I guess we are pretty happy with our lives :D

Now me personally, aside from the want/need of more money and less drama from my family, I want to be in better shape and be more health conscious. But I guess those are things I can change too, I just have to get motivated to do it :bbmrgreen:

I couldn't pick just one so I chose other. I eventually want to have my own record company, and thus having a better job. But I really kinda wish I was outta college so I could start all this! I'm looking forward to it. There's a lot of stuff I'd like to change, but the more I'd type, the more it would seem that I'm complaining. I'm very grateful for everything that I have.

I want a better job. I hate the job I am in. It doenst pay very good and I just plain dont like how the job has changed since I have been there. I used to love it. I need a job that pays good but also has the hours I need. I cant work past 5:00. I have to pick my kids up no later then 5:30. I dont have the joys of having family aroundme for help with my kids. I am hoping to change that. I am trying to get my mom to come live her.

I'm pretty happy in my life. I don't know if there is much if anything that I would change. The only thing I would do differently would be a career path. I would like to work more on an international stage dealing with issues of diplomacy. But, there is nothing but myself keeping me from that now. It is just a matter of wanting one thing, the life that I have now over the other, a different career. I would say that I am 99.9% satisfied with my life as is.

(However, if I should come back in another life, I would love to be something utterly fabulous- famous actress, rock star, billionaire business person- although I don't think I would be as happy or conent in that as I am now.)

I want to make a difference, too, Lacey. I'd really love to start a company (A Vegetarian Fast Food place would be fab!) with very good employment practices. Good hourly wages, good benefits, and a good working environment. I really want to contribute to the community in a nice way by providing good jobs, healthy food, and donating to charity.

I'm really considering getting a business degree instead of my art degree (or maybe minoring in art) so that I can acheive my goals.

Other.... i am relativly happy with my life. Despite the health problems right now it's fine. I like my job and i like where we live. Next year i hope to have a house and one day i would like to be able to do enough freelance that i can just do that.

I know that you love art. But, there are far more starving artist than starving business women. Major in something that you could go to anyplace in the world and get decent job with. Your art can follow.

I'd start my own business, horse breaking and training for other people, I am the happiest when I am at home and on our farm with our horses. Eric is an excellent horse trainer and nothing would make me happier for both of us to be at home doing what we love.

I would pick other. I would be so happy if I could just retire. But I still have to wait until 6/13/12, which is still a little less than six years. :bbcry:

I would move. I really do not like the area with live in. South east Texas is humid and swampy. The humidity makes it feel much hotter than it really is in the summer and colder than it really is in the winter. There are misquitios and way too many love bugs and snakes and other critters. In the winter it rains and rains and rains. In the spring it rains and rains and rains. It pretty much always rains, but when it stops it just stops. There is no in between.

I would like to live in northern Texas or maybe Oklahoma. I also like north east New Mexico where my aunt lives. I also am fond of Colorado. My real dream is to one day live out in Montana somewhere. It is so beautiful there. It is probably the most beautiful place ever in my opinion.

I don't think there is anything major that I would change. I would like to have our debt paid off and buy a house of our own. But that is all stuff that I'm slowly working towards achieving.

I forgot to mention before that DH and I want to open a night club/restaurant in Florida when we retire.

I'd love it to be this really cool place that has a little bit of everything to it ... bar and grill, pool and games, music and concert nights, and a bible study night for the rock, punk and biker crowd :D

I would move back home. I was so determined to move that I didn't stop and think about whether I was ready for it or not. Now I am having a really hard time adjusting.
