My g/f just emailed me pics of her wedding cruise that we
took in September. I didn't recognize the cow standing next
to my husband. OMG. Pg or not, my weight is out of control.

There's a certain point in our lives when we look in the mirror
and tell ourselves to put the fork down. It is time for me to put
the fork down.

I know my weight has crept up over the past 7 months but
this is just ridiculous. I've weighed 200+ lbs in the past and
lost weight by exercise and starvation. No lie. I starved myself.
I'm hitting 190 lbs, I'm a 5'footer - that's 65 lbs in 5 months!

I need a weight loss buddy. Seriously. You don't have to share
your details but let's just be accountable to each other for
walking 30 mins daily. D A I L Y! Rain or shine, in sickness and
health. We have to get moving daily. I'm going to go cry now.

I am sorry you are feeling so bad about your weight. I get that way myself.

You certainly shouldn't be starving yourself. You just need to watch what you eat and try to exercise more. Do what you can while you are pg and try not to be obsessed about it. Then after you can step it up more.

Good luck - feel better - don't cry

i wouldn't attempt weight loss with a multiples pregnancy w/o a doctor's supervision. Even a normal pregnancy, they rarely recommend losing weight during pregnancy...

Eating healthy and making sure your getting your daily caloric requirements is different tho... i'm not sure what the requirements are for a pregnancy w/multiples but i know you need an extra 300-500ish calories per day with a singleton

I don't know that you should be loosing weight while pregnant. Some women gain a lot during pregnancy. Nothing wrong with that. You have three babies inside of you. Pregnancy is beautiful no matter how much you gain. Focus on those babies growing in you, not your weight. Sure, be healthy while you're pregnant. Eat the right things. Do light exercise (if ok-ed by your doctor first). Relax. However, don't starve yourself or cut down your calories too much.

After the babies are born, I will gladly be your weight loss buddy! Before then, though, I don't really think you should be doing much. Weren't you practically on bed rest before?

Whoa! When did I get my own fat thread?

I'm not trying to lose weight now. I just feel so
heavy and uncoordinated. I'm supposed to have
30 minutes of light exercise per day. It's not
happening, I'm not motivated. My stretch marks
are so bad I can feel ridges. Oh well. I'm over it.

I am glad you are "over it"; I hear that pg hormones can really do a number on you. All the best :grinhappy:

Whoa! When did I get my own fat thread?
I moved it to its own thread as it didn't make sense in the thread of mine where you replied ;)

Oh. That makes sense. Thanks.

Yeah pg hormones are a MIL. I'm up, I'm down.
Not fun. :snide:
