This also depends what our budget winds up being i.e. how much we can save...
The two most probable choices are the first one. We are already married but our family ceremony is in Mid May 2012 and our honeymoon will follow.
1. The most affordable and we would drive to San Diego (hubby is from San Diego maybe kind of dumb but he likes the idea? I do too but yeah lol) and drive up the coast of California to the redwoods going to some really beautiful spots (I have been to some of the places we would be going) We live in N. Arizona.
2. He really wants to go to Southern Mexico but we know we can't afford to fly which would mean we need to drive and it wouldn't cost all that much more then first trip but would take more time. My concern is that it won't be too safe. Does anyone know about this right now? He says to avoid big cities and stuff well this kind of scares me... thoughts would be appreciated.
3. We would both really like to go to Hawaii but think its kind of a tourist trap & costs a lot of money. Money is something we don't have a ton of. Does family usually offer to pay for honeymoon? (I am not sure/ not expecting it but what is the custom).
4. My dream honeymoon is Japan, again may not really be able to afford the airfare but I think this would be cheaper then Hawaii. Do you think so? My husband is concerned with the recent radioactive activity in the air over there or w.e from the tsunami. I don't know if I can convince him to go over there. Does anyone know of any safe areas right now in Japan for travel?
