Halloween Costumes

So its almost October!!! Any one have their kid's costumes picked out already?

I'm debating on attempting a big diy project for lexi's costume... I want to make a petti romper with legs in either white or black and then put the opposite color spots on it to make her a cow, oh and a tail :) ! Then making a headband with ears and a bow on it and maybe even doing a spot of black on her nose and face (dont think she would leave it alone though) and her wear either black shiny shoes or her pink converse :)

this is the petti romper with pants, but it will be lacy at the top too
this will be the determining factor on if i actually go through with it... i have to price out the lace for it, i need 10 yards for lexi lol and shes not very big!

Oh my gosh - that's too cute!! That romper is gorgeous. I'm nowhere close to having the skill level to sew that. Awesome! I hope the lace isn't too expensive. I only need 1 yard for my DIY Halloween project - and it's felt! lol.

I'm pretty sure that Paisley is going to be dressed up in a 50's poodle skirt costume similar to this -

After getting to hang out with the national guard guys during the flooding in town here, Ryan decided he wanted to be a national guard or army man. Carter I am thinking will be cookie monster if I can find a nice costume for a good price.

Awww shes going to have the cutest costume in the neighborhood!!!
The romper doesnt seem too hard just super time consuming which i have no time lol but it will be nice to have a project

Such cute costumes! I thought this thread would be about adult costumes! Lol. Halloween is my favorite holiday. Even better than my birthday!

We're going old school. I'm going to be a sheet ghost. DH will be a beach towel superhero and the twins will be Siamese cats. TeenBaby will probably try to dress up as some smutty spider or ladybug. Oh wait, that was last year. I think this year she's going as Barbie with platinum hair and starched clothes. Her HS doesn't allow them to dress up on Halloween so the kids have to be creative.

I'm kinda isolated up on the hill, I hope kids make the trek up. :( I'll be so sad if no one comes by.

Annika is going to be a monkey. I've already had a hat and booties made. Then I bought a brown onesie and brown pants. I just have to crotchet a tail and make a pink belly to attach to the onesie somehow.

A friend has twin boys about a year older than Annika and their costumes last year were awesome. The boys were lobsters and the parents were chefs...
