I'm a wash cloth user. In a microbiology class once we took swabs from our shower poofs and cultured them. I threw mine out as soon as I got back to the dorm. I have been a washcloth user ever since.

Oh, that's so gross! But I can believe it. I replace mine often, but I got my friend a duckie poof about a year ago in June for her bday, she's been using it ever since...and still does. I mean, who knows what could be harvesting on hers? haha.

Even if you just toss it in the washer and dryer that helps a lot. But the hot air in the dryer really wears out the mesh.

I use a shower puff, which I replace once a month. I will use a washcloth when I'm away on vaca though, as I don't like to travel with a puff... you never know what they could come into contact with!

No really, I use a poof or some other type sponge sometimes and a wash cloth sometimes. I feel icky about the poof now after reading Lacey's post :bbeek:

Actually, maybe I should correct my previous post on here. I use a washcloth for my face, then for certain areas lol. But the poof for the rest of my body.
