I hated football season when I was in school.. If I went I was bored the whole time and if I stayed home my friends would give me s*it because I didn't go.

Don't get me wrong, I love football, I just hated my highschool.

Well I'm not watching football. This year I didn't do marching band so as far as I am concered, I don't have to attend any games, although I usually go to a few anyway. What I love about it is that my husband watches or goes to the Steeler's home games. So I have free time to do as I please.

By the way, Ally, where is Powell, Ohio?

Oh I get you Lacey! That makes sense... I thought you were just talking about hs... duh me!

I guess you would consider Powell a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. It's about 20 mins from the downtown area. I didn't grow up here though.

Oh, yeah... My DH doesn't even pay attention to sports. Hates them, in fact.

I remember one Sunday afternoon at Build a Bear. I was getting off around 4:00, and Carlo was taking me out on a date. So, I changed clothes, got my hair done, did my makeup, and came back to the store to get my work clothes. THey all were asking what I was all dressed up for, and when I told them I was going on a date, they asked what he did wrong. I told them that it wasn't anything at all, we were just going out...

They all couldn't believe that he was taking me out on Superbowl Sunday.

I never liked football until Jerry and I started dating. Now I love it. I have learned a lot of the rules and such and this has made it more interesting to me. It also helps that we bet on the games in a betting pool each week for college games. This truly helps make it that much more interesting when you have the chance to win $500.00 a week. haha

Mark has no interest in the NFL but is big into the CFL (Canadian Football) I enjoy watching it as well. We don't watch the games religously. But if there is one on TV we'll watch. We go to a game or two a year. Mark loves the Argo's.
He was super exsited yesterday when i showed him the Argo's Wine i got from work. We did a sign for a fundraiser they are hosting and they brought us wine because we we're charging them for it.

In my life time I have watched 2 superbowls. One in 2002 and the other in 2006. I tuned in just in time for the half time show. Then I went back to Civial War day on TNT.

Steve is a die hard PennState fan. So he watches every game that is on TV. Plus he goes to their last home game every year (this year it's the weekend of my grandparents 50th anniversary party...not sure if he's gunna get to go!). As for NFL, we watch it every now and then. I like football, I just can't watch too much of it.

The only games DH is interested in are the Giants games. If they are on, that is what is on my tv. It's okay, not that I'm a big fan of football, but I understand enough to be able to follow the games.

Every Saturday from now until January will be tied up with Notre Dame Football. Every Sunday/Monday with the Steelers. I LOVE that he loves it so much!
