I believe life begins when the egg is fertilized. The process to make a human begins at that moment.

When the baby can breathe on it's own and no longer needs to be in the womb.

I think life begins when it can survive outside the womb.

I would say when the fetus is able to survive outside of the womb.

In my opinion it is when the egg is implanted in the uterus would be the closest thing. If I could find my reproduction notes I would have a little better answer to exactly what I think. I am thinking I would lean more toward when the heart starts to beat. I know it starts to beat before it can be monitored, but I would have to look up when. I know I have that in my notes and it is really early.

Life begins at conception.

I am with AllyM1 on this one. It begins at conception. The moment that sperm meets that egg there is a life already in the making. There is a baby in there. A human.

My personal feeling is that life begins when a fetus could survive outside of the womb.

Im saying when a fetus can survive outside the womb, even if thats with medical assistance - i certainly wouldnt consider it when its still at the Embryonic stage. x

I would have to say it starts when the fetus is able to survive outside the womb and no longer needs the assistance of the mother.

What I would vote for is not here... I think life starts when the baby's brain is developed completely. Not just automatic functioning, but when it can feel and hear. I know that's before it can survive out of the womb, but past the embryonic stage.

I think it is really cool that they can hear while inside the womb. That is why babies can recognize the sound of their mother's voice when they a born.

I said at conception. The fetus's heart is beating shortly after that point i believe within the first 2 months
