Hi there, I'm trying desperately to keep my budget in check while still having a beautiful wedding. I'd like to add some small decorations, special touches, to make the ambience really nice but it seems to all be adding up. The birdcages, the chalkboards, the candy station apothecary jars, the manzana branches (i think that's what it is), etc.
does anyone know if i can rent them anywhere. and am i the only one that's having a hard time purchasing it without thinking that i'm never going to use these things again?
thanks!

Plenty of places rent out things like birdcages and branches/foliage. Where do you live? Did you try a google search for them in your area yet? I know for a fact that Michael's has the jars.

Have you thought about going to a park or wooded area and just taking some sticks and branches? Rather then buying of hiring them? I did that recently, not for a wedding but for a party. I painted them silver and hung the strands of beads from them. Everyone thought they looked amazing and they were free. Good luck with everything!

Do you have a planner or coordinator? Our coordinator rented us a birdcage for much less than one would have cost us (and what would we do with it afterwards besides? lol).

The birdcages, the chalkboards, the candy station apothecary jars, the manzana branches (i think that's what it is), etc.
Birdcages: Check out flea markets, second hand stores, kijiji/craigslist, etc. I saw a really cute one one clearance at Home Sense a few weeks ago.
Chalkboards: What about making these yourself buying/using frames and buying or making chalkboard paint? Might be an option?

Apothecary jars: What about just using mason jars here? I don't think any of your guests would notice. These are also often for sale cheap (especially second hand ... I just gave away 48 of them. Or you could do something like this: http://homemade.tipjunkie.com/candlestick-apothecary-jars-how-to/

Manzana branches: Would it be possible to just use actual free branches?
