Las Vegas anyone?

About a month ago it was brought up to us that we might go to Las Vegas to have our wedding. I had never thought of it before then but I am warming up to the idea (my first, his second).

Has anyone here planned (or is planning) a wedding in Las Vegas? I know many people would automatically think it's cheesey but from what little I've researched, I don't think it would be.

Yep, I got marred in Las Vegas at the Venetian. It was just right for me, and not cheesy at all. Of course cheesy is an option, but it's possible to have a lovely wedding in LV. :)

We were married at the Lake Mead overlook in Boulder..it was beautiful there! Then for the reception we rented the paddle style boat on Lake Mead...the food was GREAT!
