We went, we tried, we failed. Nick and I are such bad dancers! wE stepped all over each other. It was so embarrassing! I dont want to go back but I dont want to stink at the wedding either. It was the worst hour ever.

It can take some time and effort, but it is possible to learn. Don't give up after one bad day.

It'll get better. :) The first time you do anything is always going to be a little harder. Everything takes practice too. So spend some time on it now and by your next lesson you'll feel a lot better.

And just think how much fun it'll be to glide around the dance floor at your reception.

hi. have you tried those DVDs that you buy? Perhaps you both would do better in the privacy of your own home and could practice more frequently. Just a thought. Best of luck. Either way, it's your wedding day and just celebrate as hard as you can even if you fall on top of each other :)

Practice more if possible. Imagine the two of you gliding across the floor on your big day.

If you don't have dancing experience, your first lesson is going to be hard. You can't quit because that won't turn you into pros overnight. Stick with it, make an effort to practice for 10 minutes a night between lessons. It will take time but eventually you will get the feeling for dancing.

We thought about dancing lessons. We decided we would look silly! LOL
Joe is 6'1 200 Pounds
I am 5'1 110 Pounds

Anybody got any suggestions on how we can dance?

We aren't taking any lessons. We dance to country music most of the time, and frankly, I don't care how we look. We are a bunch of hicks anyway. No one really cares if a hick can dance.

Give it another try it will surely worth it. Just don't think about it too much and try to have some fun. :) Goodluck...
