I want to ask the mommies and our mommies to be something. My sil's birthday is coming up this weekend and we need to get her a gift. She is also 6 months pregnant. I was thinking maybe going to Pea in the Pod and getting a nice set of maternity pj's. I was thinking that she is going to want something those first few days in the hospital and then when she gets home. I assume that her regular pajamas won't quite fit right afterwards and she would still want soemthing nice but comfy to have on when visitors are stopping by those first few days. Is this something you would have appreciated and used? Or should I think of something else?

I think it's a wonderful idea! I would have loved some comfortable jammies to put on when I got home from the hospital. I think that would be a really thoughtful gift. :D

Well I hope I count as a mommy 2 be (even without being there just yet) I would love it and I think it is a great idea, comfy slippers monogrammed to match might be an additional thought because she can continue to use those!

You have the perfect idea!!!!
Pjs are awsome!!!! I had some when I was in the hospital with my last 2 and they are great. If you can find some with a button up shirt, thats even better in case she plans to nurse. Oh and matching slippers for walking around on those nasty hospital floors!

Those are great ideas. I also think that a gift cert for a 'personal day' would be nice. Something like for her hair, or massage or something. I always helps to feel and look good. My sister had quite a few preg massages and she loved them.

I think that would be a wonderful idea. It would make the hospital stay much nicer for her as well as when she returns home.

I'm not a mommy to be, but my sister loved the lightweight bathrobe and slippers that I bought for her to use at the hospital. In fact, the bathrobe made it's appearance in most of the pictures of her and the baby at the hospital. PJ's are a super idea!

That is a very good idea. I had an awesome pair of PJ when I was in the hospital from my Soon to be Sil, and I loved them!!

Something that I think she might appriciate is a bathrobe for when she's in the hospital. That's something that I wished I had.. That and some nursing bras that were the correct size....

If she doesn't have a Boppy, they're wonderful too. :bbmrgreen:

I looked at her registry, I think she registered for the a boppy. I know her shower ins't until next month so I figure she will ge ta ton of baby stuff for that. The same people that will be there were at our respective bridal showers and we REALLY made out at those.

The nursing bras, she is on her own for that. That is just a little to intimate. :bbmrgreen:
