Okay so there is a good possibility that my husband to be and all his buddies will be wearing their hottie marine uniforms at our wedding. That's all good and dandy but what color goes with that!!!??? I am not a dark color type of person so I REALLY don't want to use blue or red. I know they have like gold cufflings or something...right??? So I was thinking of like a (now bear with my description please) a yellowish goldish color. You know where it's not just a spring yellow , but not really as dark as gold. ARGH, I wish I could post a pipc of the dress that has el color I talking about.

You don't have to coordinate with the Marine dress uniforms anymore than you would with a black tuxedo. If you want yellow go with yellow. If you want hot pink, than hot pink it is. The only color I would possible avoid would be black. I just don't like black and dark blue together. But that is me. And if you don't want the starts an stripes theme maybe avoid red too.

I think any color that you select would look good next to a Marine uniform!!
...and you should be able to have them salute you with the swords as you and your husband exit. (I have always wanted that at my wedding)

I think the color you want is goldenrod. There is a TON of variations on gold these days. You'll have lots of choices.

I had the hardest time trying to decide on the colors for my wedding last year! So I went to a fabric store and walked around for awhile. The workers there were wondergful! When I saw a color I wanted they gave me a swatch of it for my bridal binder so I could keep it while I decided what colors I wanted.
