Most of you probably know that we found a place. I have a few pictures of it to share. I don't want to move anymore! This will be our 4th move, we've only been married 3 1/2 years! It's a small 3 bed/2 1/2 bath duplex and I really think that we could be happy here until we're ready to purchase our own home in a few years. That's how we felt about the place we were at in Houston before Chad's job relocated us. We were really happy there! We have been pretty miserable here in Austin home and location wise, but I think it's all going to change now. I really hope so. I want to be happier! My family makes me over the moon happy, but being a SAHM alllll day - the place you inhabit can have quite an impact on you.

Front of the place. Our unit is this one on the right.

The kitchen, laundry, and door to the garage. Too bad the adorable dog doesn't come with it! lol The door right by the dog is a storage area that we're hoping we can make into a play area for Paisley.

Congrats on finding a place. I totally understand the moving part. This is our third address and we haven't reached three years Married yet. (Seven addresses in eight years for us)

Are you able to decorate a rental house? Not that it needs much doing to it. Looks like the garden is a similar size to ours. And i would kill for a garage right next to the house. Mines a mile away.

That looks like a really nice place! I'm excited to see how you "make it home." I know what you mean about all the moving... DH and I moved 3 times together, and I moved 5 times from 2006 to 2010. We'd planned on living in this house for a long while, but we may have to move again if we have boy/girl twins. Still, it's nice to know we'll be here for more than a year, and I hope you like your place enough to stay for awhile!

Yep, a backyard! It's a little overgrown right now since there hasn't been a tenant in two months. We can't wait to clean it up and spend some time back there when it's not so dang hot. And, yes, I am very excited about having a both a garage and a driveway. Right now we schlep up a big hill from the parking lot and up three flights of stairs to get to our apartment. I'm so looking forward to that being over!

Paisley is with her grandparents today so we're thinking of going to the neighborhood and exploring the walking trails, seeing what the playground has to offer, etc.

Have fun wandering round. Have a go on the swings for me. ;)

Oh wow! What a cute place, Keely! It's adorable. I hope you feel more at home there. I love our 2 bedroom apartment, but I am starting to want more of a home than just a place we live. Can't wait until next year. Depending on school situations for the two of us we will either be buying a house or trying to move into a duplex or townhouse rental.

I can't wait to see what you do to the place. Paisley is going to love it! I hope you find some exciting trails and that the playground is awesome. :)
