Where do these come from? This one is from Elizabeth's signature but I want to make one of my own...Karen has them too....I WANT ONE! LOL!

They're called blinkies, and you just get them off the internet. There are many, many different ones on the web. Most people don't care if you take theirs, just remember to download them to your own hard drive. Don't just copy it and take it, that would be considered stealing their bandwidth, and that's a no no.

OH! I just copied and pasted Elizabeth's! Was that a no no? Oopsie if it was, I didn't know I was being bad LOL! Thanks for the info Karen! I now have something to occupy me until quitting time LOL!

No, if you want to borrow Elizabeth's, that's fine I'm sure. It's just the forever thing I'm talking about. Like you see one you like and you copy it and keep it on your site forever or for a very long time. That would be a no no. But if you see one you like, just do a "Save as.." to your hard drive. I'll try to help you if you run into problems. But they have any kind you could ever imagine on the internet, you wouldn't need to have to make them yourself. But if you did want to make them yourself, you would have to have PhotoShop or something like that to do it. Hope that helps! :)

I did a google search for 'Blinkies' and found several sites that have them. Some ask you to link to them others don't and some ask you to register.

Anyway, I found this that I like ;) :p ...

ok im still completly lost with this whole blinkie thing i right click them and save as i even put them into my harddrive can get them onto my sig. but no blinking going on see below not sure what im doing wrong. will someone please help

So you are saying that the ones in your siggy were blinking before and once you saved them and posted them they stopped blinking? Did you save it as a gif? Where did you find them? I'm not real sure what the problem could be.

NO they were only blinking when i did the save as on the web page. I didn't save it as gif I will have to try that thanks. I just did a google search for blinkies and it came up with a bunch diff. sites. the only instructions on the site was to right click press save as onto your harddrive and then have it uploaded onto your own server.

You have them saved as jpg files, these type things have to be gif to blink. See if you can find them again and try to save as a gif and see it that works ;)
