View Full Version : Can we talk strollers... again?

I'm really concerned about the mobility issue with 4 kids. I ordered and then cancelled 2 Britax B-ready strollers from Amazon on the 4th of July weekend. Well Amazon claims they didn't receive the cancellation in time and shipped the strollers anyway. Okay fine. I opened one and realized it only came with one seat. I have to purchase the other seat or use a baby bucket, adding an additional $150+ to each stroller. And here I thought I was saving $200/per stroller going through Amazon.

I still have the LeeBruss pushpram which I love love love because the girls sit side by side. My girls like to kick and thump their legs and they like sitting up to watch the world go by. I feel like I didn't get to use the carrycots/bassinets long enough to get my money's worth. Those big quad strollers are way too heavy for me to push, I want something simple. I figured I won't be out alone with all 4 so two separate strollers is what I'm after. The LeeBruss has been discontinued, there's one similar but equally as heavy. I barely have room for the LeeBruss in my trunk, I won't have room for 2.

What stroller configurations are you guys using? This is a question for all moms.

We have this jogging stroller by Baby Trend. It is $180 and the infant car seat that can snap in is sold separately (we have that as well).

It wouldn't do what you needed it to though :) We like it so far - haven't been able to take it out for a run yet though because Norah isn't old enough to do that yet.

When the twins were little we used the Baby Trend snap N go and just snapped their car seats in. It was fine for what we used it for (drs appts).

We also have an InStep Safari Double Jogging Stroller, which I really like. I use this for walks around the neighborhood or if we are going to a park.

And for shopping, I just have a little side by side umbrella stroller. I was using a bigger tandem stroller but it was such a pain to maneuver around in stores and this does the job. Not the fanciest or most expensive but its used the most. :) It barely takes up any space either! If I could have afforded it I would have looked into getting a Maclaren or Combi Twin Sport instead.

I don't have twins, so I'm not sure it's worth much to mention, but I have the Peg Perego Pliko Switch.
