I thought about it a little, I think some of them are cute and look great. But ultimately I wanted the big, tiered wedding cake so we could do a traditional cake cutting.

I think it's a cute idea too, but I would never consider it for my wedding. We never considered it for Amber's wedding either. :)

Its really not for me. I think sometimes it looks alright, but I dont care for them. I really like the look of traditional wedding cakes for weddings. Cupcakes always make me think of birthday parties.

I see your point. I do think they would look marvelous at a bridal shower! I might suggest this for mine!

For bridal showers or any other party I vote yes, but for a wedding, I definitely vote no. I gotta have the cake cutting... Its kinda hard to cut a cupcake!

I had a cupcake cake for my wedding. They were big heart shaped cup cakes and we had a round top for our cake topper. Here is it. I loved it. And we didnt need the cake knife , we just fend each other the cup cake.

I was just going to mention that Gwen had a cupcake wedding cake and it was wonderful!! I think it is a cute idea, but I would never have done one for myself.

Yep, its in my journal but here it is again anyway. This is a smilar one but we have a seven tier clear stand and are doing each cake in cream with alternative red and black icing ribbons on them. x

I think that it is a really cute idea. I would do it, but I dont know if it would be easy enough to feed all the guests at the reception.
