Why is it that no matter how many times I see this movie I ball my eyes out? I do not know if it is the thought process that happens when you see Barbara Hershey's character dying, the fact that you know she wants to see her daughter grow up but never will, or if it is the dang "Wind Beneath My Wings" song....but it never fails I cry. UGH!!

Oh yes! Ole Yeller! I have never seen the Diary of Anne Frank, but I read it and it also is very sad. Schindler's List also makes me cry.

I have two movies. They are silly, but they really get me. Armageddon, where she is saying goodbye to her father at the end, and Ladder 49 when the cheif pulls up in front of the house of the firefighter who was killed to tell his wife.

Has anyone seen "Eight Below?" The part when he comes back for the dogs after they had been on their own for over five months, and they come running to him. I got tears in my eyes just thinking about that part. :bbcry:

I cried during both of those scenes. Just heartbreaking.

Oh I have seen that. It is a sad one too, but good in the end! And like Heather, 8 Seconds makes me cry. It is especially sad at the end when they show all the pictures of Lane Frost when he was a kid and at his wedding and stuff. That is really sad because it is a true story.

I have cried during every single movie mentioned! I guess I'm just emotional.

A couple to add Sweet November, Braveheart, Hope Floats, and The End of the Spear.

Steve's sister and I can not watch Backdraft. Not when the charactor "Steve" dies in a fire.

I cried watching Steel Magnolias years ago and Armageddon ... I'm sure there have been more I just can't remember them now. Anytime something is sad and someone else cries, I usually do too.

I def. cried :bbcry: during the "Notebook" that was a good movie though, I even think Michael wanted to cry.(Which never happens!)

I cried as well during Armageddon.

I cried during Benji and Old Yeller of course.

I cry during any movies where animals die in it, I can't stand to see that!:bbcry:

I cried during Fried Green Tomatoes. (Another good movie!)

Some others were (but don't laugh) Casper, Bambi and Lion King!

and the Titanic and Green Mile.

Apparently Rent also does it for me. I just spent two hours sobbing. Fortunately the sad moments are counteracted by such joyful ones. I remember crying in the theater when it first came out on stage back in the 1990's. But when we saw the movie version I don't remembering crying. I made up for that tonight though!

The movie that makes me cry every single time I watch it (though I try not to watch it often) is ONE TRUE THING, with Renee Zellwiger and Meryl Streep (?). WHen that movie came out, I just found out that my favorite aunt had been diagnosed with breast cancer. I went to see that movie not really knowing what it was completely about, and sobbed throughout the whole entire movie. I was still crying on the way home after the movie. Luckily, my aunt is fine and is considered "cured" as she has had no issues at all since she finished chemo therapy, but, that movie still reminds me of how uncertain we were for her, and the fact that life is truly precious.
