Spider bite

Looks like my sister apparently got bit by a spider (they think a brown recluse); she is seeing a surgeon today to lance and drain the wound.

She has 3 bites on her arm, here is a pic of the worst one today -

Please pray for her that it is not as bad as we fear and heals quickly.

Yikes! I hope the doctor is able to make it better! I'm so glad all we have here are little black ones (little compared to what I've seen from pics elsewhere).

They are treating her with antibiotics for now; if there is no improvement in 3 days then she will go back.

Thanks guys ... I saw her today and it doesn't really look any better or worse. But they did get the staph and mrsa tests back and it wasn't either of those, so they still think it is some sort of spider bite.

So I guess we just wait and see if the meds help clear it up.
