So why do they call it "pound cake"? Is it supposed to weigh a pound?

No. You can get one from the Poundshop. (Where everything costs £1) Or go to the 99p Shop and save 1 pence. (100 pence is a pound) ;)

I also heard its cause its a pound of each ingredient..so, does that mean that cup cakes are a cup of each ingredient!? :notsure:haha! x
