Couple of DIY Cards

Not *wholly* wedding related, but since one of them is a wedding card for my cousin who is getting married next weekend, I figured that I would be safe enough posting them here. :D I made a collage so that there weren't SO many pictures.

First up - the wedding card! :) I'm not entirely sure that I won't put some sort of title/saying/congrats on the front, but I'm counting it done until I consult with my parents and Anton in the morning. The quote on the inside of the card says "Love is always bestowed as a gift - Freely, Willingly and without expectation. We don't love to be loved; We love to love. - Leo Buscaglia" and the back says "To have and to hold". The band around the middle is random inspirational words. If you want me to post closer up shots, just let me know. :P

The 2nd card is one that I made to send to my GMIL. She sent us a nice card a week or so ago, and I wanted to do something special for her, so this is what I came up with. The rose is a picture that I took of one of the roses in my yard. The top picture is with flash and the bottom without. I put both because the top shows the truer colors, but the bottom shows the rose better!

This is for us to send to my in-laws as just a fun unexpected surprise in the mail. :) I thought they would like it. Like the GMIL card, the picture on this one is a picture I took of some of the berries in my backyard (my mom has veritable fruit farm back there I swear - you should hear her list off all her plants and trees! lol). I couldn't resist the title to go with it. :D The inside is currently blank as we decide what we want to write. :D

Going all out on the cards, eh?!? VERY nice!!! My favorite wedding card I received was handmade, and the guest cut the logo out of our invitation and put it on our card (with other pretty things) and it was just really sweet.
