I am in search of a magenta or fuschia wedding dress. I figure I'll probably have to purchase this online because everything in my local bridal salons is so traditional. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Check designs by Maggie Sottero although I think she calls her color fuschia. Essence of Australia also makes some colored dresses. I know that my Maggie Sottero came in the option color of fuschia.

I know David's Bridal just introduced a Color Accent line - the entire dress isn't color, but the trim is. I think they look lovely!

Most salons carry the traditional white & ivory wedding gowns, however the designers are starting to add more color to the gowns (particularly in satin trims & sashes, and embroidery). For a gown that is completely a different color, check out the formal wear section at your local department stores, as well as check out the bridesmaids section at the bridal salons. You'll definitely find color there.

Check out groupusa.com and victoriassecret.com. Some of their formals and bridesmaid dresses could be used as a wedding dress...especially if you add some embellishments to it!!

Happy Shopping!

A formalwear store like jessica mcclintock makes very elegant and elaborate gowns in lots of colors, could definitely be used as a wedding gown if you're not looking for something like a long train...

unfortunately, you may have trouble anywhere finding a wedding dress in that color... people are still conservative about it :?

Maggie Sottero has several color to choose from this season. Very fun and funky, on classic style gowns.
