I posted this on FB and wanted to share here as well. As much testing as we did one these recipes, you would have thought that they would have been executed perfectly, but that was not the case! Too much chaos and family drama on the day of really kind of messed up some things. :( I think that a few things could have been improved upon greatly, but all of these recipes are still so wonderful. I hope you try some and enjoy them!

From FB:

Some of you asked for some recipes so here are all of the recipes that we made for the party.

They're all vegan, btw. :)

Herbed Bread

Olive Oil Dip
Use Star Olive Oil or another Spanish olive oil to serve.

Italian Hummus

Ranch Dip for Vegetables
The recipe doesn't call for dried dill, but it's just not ranch without it...so add a pinch or two. :)

Pigs n Blankets
Each batch of puff pastry will make 24, with each hot dog/sausage cut into fourths. We used organic veggie dogs for ours pigs in blankets.

BBQ Sauce
(served w/ pigs n blankets)

Creamy Pasta Bake
Unfortunately, this did not turn out nearly as well as it does when we make it at home. We've doubled the recipe before, but never made it in such a large quantity like we did for the party. Standard size whole wheat bow-tie pasta is the best pasta to use for this recipe.

Garlic Rolls
This dough doesn't freeze and defrost so well. We learned that the hard way! These were just okay at the party, but they're absolutely excellent with fresh dough and fresh baked.

Strawberry Lemonade Cupcakes
After the batter was mixed I gently folded in chopped fresh strawberries to go for the strawberry lemonade effect.

Strawberry Buttercream
I pureed fresh strawberries and then left them to drain for a few hours, mushing them up every once in a while. Then I made the buttercream as directed and slowly added the strawberry puree. I added back in some of the drained juices, just enough to make the icing pink and give it a slight strawberry flavor.

Chocolate Garden Cup - mousse
Hmmm...not sure where this recipe is. I'll edit it later...

Orange Cream Tarts
These suckers are tricky. We had several failed attempts until we baked the tart shells in mini cupcake liners and then peeled them off after baking. Use a good quality orange marmalade.

Lemonade

The pb&j and croutons are pretty self explanatory and I don't have recipe for them, the vanilla cake was from Whole Foods, and the ranch dressing, Greek vinaigrette, marinara pasta, iced tea, and pesto pasta were from Cafe Express!

I hope that I don't forget to tag anybody that was at the party...if I do - I'm so sorry!

xoxo love to all

Everything sounds yummy! That's a lot of food to prepare, I can imagine there being some bumps in the road having to do all of it yourself and then dealing with family drama on top of it! I'm sure it was all wonderful!!
