Does anyone have any interesting scar stories? If you want to, tell how many, and the stories behind them.

I have four:
The first one is on the corner of my eye. When I was a little girl, my sister covered the bathtub with soap so we could ski. I fell and hit the soap dish and cut my eye open. My sister got in trouble.
The second one is on my hand. I am told that when I was little a rabbit scratched me.
The third one is on top of my belly button where I had my tubes tied.
The last one is on the back of my neck. I had surgery to correct the bones pushing on my spinal cord. Very very painful, I was out of work for a year.

I have one on my forehead. When I was little my grandma kept telling me not to jump on her bed... I didn't listen and I busted my head open on the headboard. 5 stitches.
I have a scar by my left eyebrow from where I had my eyebrow pierced and it got infected.
I have to pock marks (sp?) from when I was younger and had chicken pox.

No I didn't! I don't remember it but from what my mother and grandmother told me, I always did it and my grandma was ALWAYS telling me sooner or later I'm gonna hurt myself... and I did!

I'm scarless as far as I can tell. I did have one on my finger from being bit as a child. There used ot be one underneath my eye brow from a chicken pox as well. But over time those have faded to the point that I can't even see them.

I have a few little scars that I am not sure what they are from. Like a tiny one on my finger. I have one chicken pox scar on my arm near my shoulder. I also have to major scars from surgery when I was 3 1/2 yrs old. I was born with a dislocated hip but it was not corrected untill they found it when I was 3 1/2.

Oh man! If I tell you every scar I have we will be here for ages! lol
I'll sum it up.
I have a scar above my left eyebrow from scratching my chicken pox. I have a scar on my right shoulder where my cat scratched me when I was young, he also scratched me on my leg and I have a five inch slash scar there. I have two scars on my arm, one from my cat because he was being attacked by a dog and I picked him out of it and he turned around and bit/scratched me. I have another scar from stiches on that same arm, it's gross. My knees are scarred to c r a p from taking a nasty spill off my bike while riding down a steep graveled hill. I have a scar from jumping on a boat hitch with my knee cap. I am also scarred from playing rugby and base ball and ripping up my flesh on my legs and knees. I have many more scars, But I think you all get the jist of my very clutzy life!! lol

I have a scar on my right cheek from a glass soda bottle that froze in our fridge and exploded when I took it out to thaw.
I have got one on my right knee from getting a sewing machine needle stuck in there and had to have it removed, this happened when I was about 14. I was on my knees laying out a sleeping bag in a house we had just moved into. Well apparently my room was the sewing room for the previous owners and I found the needle they lost.
I have a little scar on my left ankle from were I cut myself pretty bad shaving once.
I think that is about it, aside from my tattoos ;)

Well where do I begin? I have a scar that runs the length of my right shoulder from the top of it down to under my armpit. This is from surgery when I was 17 for my shoulder dislocating. I have one from a partial hysterectomy a few years ago. I have one running down the length of my face on my left cheek from an accident on 4th of July a few years ago. Requiring many, many stitches and some plastic surgery. I have one small one on my knee from a bicycle accident. I have one on my shin from a horse riding accident. If I went into deep detail it would take to long.

I have a scar on the top left corner of my lip from when I was about 3. My sister and I and I think a cousin or two were dancing around the living room and I fell, hitting my face into the corner of our coffee table. We had a glass coffee table with really sharp corners, not rounded ones like you can get today. Anyway, when I hit it, my lip went down over my tooth, and basically my tooth went through my lip. 6 stitches there, and I can remember getting them and getting them out as clearly as if it happened recently!!
Also, a half moon scar on the instep of my left foot. My sister dropped a glass jar on the floor and it shattered. She was only 9, so I made her stay out of the kitchen while I cleaned it up - shoeless. Needless to say, I stepped on a piece. Couldn't get stitches cause there were no adults home to take me to the hospital.
And finally, a scar on the index finger of my left hand. Same sister picked up one of those huge glass gallon jugs, and dropped it on concrete. It broke towards the top, leaving jagged pieces still attached. While picking up the glass and placing it in the jar, I hit my finger on one of the jagged pieces and cut it. 5 stitches there.
What is it with my left side???!!!

I don't know what is up with your left side, but I would be questioning your sister's motives. It sounds like she might have it in for you!

I have quite a few scars. Lets see where should I begin...
The biggest scar that I have is six inches long across my abdomen from my kidney transplant.
I have a small scar on my right pinky from rollerblading in our basement, going past the furnace and accidently getting my finger stuck in there (the slots are like razor blades on the other side)
I have a very faint scar on my right forarm from riding down my grandma's paved driveway on a broken 4wheel-Power Wheeler...I ran into a tree.
I also have several scars on my legs from softball, and other accidents.
I just have to tell this story about my mom and her scar from the kidney transplant. Hers is about 4 inches long and underneath her ribs on her left side, and after the surgery everyone would ask how we were doing, and instead of just saying fine she would pull up her shirt to show everyone her new scar....She was so proud of it!! LOL :bblol:

My sister would do the exact same thing with her gall bladder scars!! It was so funny!

I have 3 on my left knee from a knee-cap repair that I had after breaking my knee-cap.
I have 3 on my left ankle after a bad break that forced me to get bone chips removed.
I have one on my right middle finger from getting my finger caught in something when i was really little... i dont remember it.
I have a scar on my right palm from ripping my hand open on the uneven bars in gymnastics
I have 2 under my chin - 1 from nailing my chin on the end of the balance beam on a dismount and 1 from banging my chin on the uneven bars learning to jump from the high bar to the low bar.
I have 1 on my right wrist from having cysts removed
I think thats all of them... I guess I got pretty banged up over the years.

6. On my hip I have a scar, but I don't really know what from.
7. I also have another scar on my ankle that I don't know what it is from.

Hmmm a lot of you seem to have "near of the eye" scars .... count me in too! I took a corner too quicly when I was young and wiped out against my mother's dresser.
I have scars from my reduction surgery but, not alot. I also have a small scar on my hand from a human's scratch and a scar on my leg from a slip of the razor.
Stretch marks are rather like scars ..... I have lots of them too LOL

I have over 20 (less than an inch long) slightly pinkish scars where I had moles removed, I have a scar on my left wrist (next to the artery) where I rammed a rusty nail into my hand pushing a porch swing with my cousin in it, I have a scar on my left leg under my knee where I jumped into a boat propeller (was in the back of a truck) when my sister told me to sit still and I didn't! I have a scar inside my mouth where I fell and hit a concrete block with my face (playing when I was little), I have a scar above my right big toe where I kicked a concrete block when i was little...yes i know I should stay away from those. I have scars on my legs from horses, dogs, clumsiness and a scar on my left elbow (about 2 inches, very faint) that I got when I flipped a four wheeler off a hill and rolled it about 6 times...I limped around for a week and looked like a cat had used me for a scratching post!

I have a scar on the right side of my forehead. I was about 4 years old when I was looking at the ceiling while spinning around (yes, dumb. But I was a kid :bbmrgreen: ) I got dizzy, fell and hit my head on a table.
Here's the funny one........
I have known Billy, my fiance, since he was 9 and I was 15. When he was 12 and I was 18, he was being a dummy trying to scare me with a knife (he was such a little jerk back then!). He accidentlly sliced the side of my arm by my wrist. It was dripping blood everywhere. I needed 5 stitches to close it up. He felt really bad then and still does! :bblol: I have a nice scar as a momento of when we were growing up. ;)

As I read through these I remembered a couple more scars I ahve. I have 2 on my righ tknee. One from shaving as a teen adn I sliced my knee good. The other was also when I was a young teen and running from a boy who was teasing me and I slid on the wet grass with one leg and on the sidewalk with my knee. It was horrible and he felt so bad. It left a knice rouded scar right on top of my knee cap.

I also have a scar on my forehead that you cant see very well, When I was 18 I rolled my car and the scar is from that.
