I want to believe they have the guy after 10 years, but I'm just not sure. He is definitely weird, that's for sure, but everything just doesn't seem right. I just don't know for sure. :bbconfused:

If nothing else they got another child molester off of the street. The guy does have a suspcious at best track record.

I'm like Karen I want to think they finally got the guy. But, I am not sure. I need to see the evidence. There should be a lot of it. This guy has parts of his story that do not in fact match up. I'm sorry but you don't molest and murder a child in her own home and then forget little details like: drugging her, not knowing how you got in the house, if you actually picked up the kid from school, ect. Plus his ex wife is already providing an alibi. Trust me, in 99% of criminal cases, ex partners aren't usually rushing to the front of the pack to make up a false alibi to protect their ex.

Two things will determine this case. The handwriting on the ransom note can be almost 100% verified. If it it a match to a sample taken from Karr's handwriting it is pretty safe bet that he in fact wrote it. Also, there is DNA in the case. If that comes back as a positive match than there is no doubt that he was there. How involved he is though is another story. He hasn't confessed to killing that poor little girl. He just confessed to being there and knowing that it was an accident.

Criminal law can be sticky. I never liked it. But, you don't arrest people on a lark. You don't get other nations to extridite just because. There has to be some rock solid evidence aside from the crazy rambelings of a man in email that links him to this case. It is too high profile for them to arrest the guy then say. "Oops, we messed up again."

I do think that the parents were involved though, I just don't know how. I mean, how do you not hear someone break into your house, kidnap, rape, and murder your child and not know it. And, how do you go back to that house and continue to live there afterwards? I don't even think I would be able to go in and get my toothbrush and change of underware let alone continue to live there.

This isn't the first time someone confessed to this murder. I personally would be surprised if he did actually did it.

For some strange @ss reason I think he is looking for his 15 minutes of fame...

Like Lacey said, if anything they got him off the streets.. he is a WEIRDO!

I don't remember all the details about it, but remember leaning towards thinking the parents had something to do with it.

I don't know. It is good that he is off the street. Lord only knows what he was up to in Thailand.

I shudder to think what he might have done to some little Thai children. :bbcry:

Tragically for the most part that type of thing is all but welcomed in some parts of the Thailand and Cambodia. Parents knowingly sell their children into brothels.

Yes I want to believe they do for the family. They went through H E L L being accused of it and for their sakes I want to believe they finally caught him.

This is a really good point. But he was wanted on child pornography charges and I believe that would be enough for extradition as well.

He is being extradited for the Ramsey case. That means that he will go directly from Thailand to Colorada. When Colorado is done with him (meaning pre trial, trial, sentence) the state of California can decide to request extradition. Usually they will have to wait until Colorado is done with him first including the fulfillment of his sentence. If he is convicted of the Jon Bennet case, he will probably get life in prison so the state of CA will never actually bring him to trial on those charges.

Oh yes Oprah did a whole special on that. It is very sad. The Lifetime movie, Human Trafficking also touched on that.

I want to think they have caught the person responsible for this act. but I think there are to many unanswered things in regards to it. They are now looking into him in the dissappearance of Morgan Nick. The little girl from Alma, AR.

I just heard on the news that Karr's DNA didn't match the DNA found on Jon Benet.

Yes, I much as I would like to think they have caught her killer, I am just not sure if they have, but nontheless, as already stated, at least he is off the streets.

From what I have heard I dont think he did it. I mean there is way to many things that just dont match up. I have not been following it all that much but I just dont htink it was him.

Perhaps he had an acomplice or he planted DNA? I don't know, but why would you say you were with her when she died if you didn't do it??? There are too many unanswered questions!!

There are tons of people who confess to crimes that they didn't commit. It's weird, but it happens a lot. Maybe he wanted his 15 mins. of fame, horrible way to get it, but there isn't much that surprises me these days.

I'm so disappointed. I was so hoping that this was solved. I'm mad at the Colorado officials for not getting the DNA tested before they arrested this guy. This makes them look so bad. Oh well, back to the drawing board. :bbconfused:

I think he is just a sicko that is obssessed with the Jon Benet case. He is going to California now to face child pornography charges. Hopefully they put him away for a long time.

I kinda had a feeling all along he didn't do it. Too much just didn't match up. I wouldn't be surprised if he did know a little something more about the case though. Maybe a hint as to who may have done it.
Like Kaci said though, I am definatly glad he is being taking to CA and being pressed with child porn charges. At least the sicko will be locked away (hopefully) for something.
