The day I met my fiancee I was working at the bar. It was as a favor to the owner. When I walked into the bar he was the first person I saw. I just smiled and he noticed me as well. The rest of the night I kept avoiding him because I wasn't interested in dating anyone. But he was very persistent about getting my number. Finally a mutual friend noticed what was going on and told me that if I trusted him, I'd give this guy a chance. So I did. I let him drive me home and on the way we decided to go for a ride in the hills. We talked and kissed until we slid off the road and got stuck. We had to have one of his friends come pull us out of all the snow. But the whole time he sat there and cuddled with me and kissed. The next day when I called him (he was just looking up my number on his phone to call me) he asked me if he could come over. I said sure but I was just cleaning. He came over and helped me clean! We moved in together 3 days later.
He had unofficially asked me to marry him while taking a candlit bubble bath. Then a few days before my daughters were going to visit relatives he asked my oldest if he could marry me. She said yes. We had already bought the ring but he was waiting for the perfect time to ask me. We went fishing with some friends and then on the way home we pulled over to this beautiful picnic area and we hiked up to this beautiful meadow. We sat at the only rock in the meadow and watched the dogs play. I secretly hoped he would propose right there since it was sooo perfect. Just as I pushed the thought from my mind he grabbed my hand and proposed! I said yes! It was beautiful.
