What Side Of The Bed?

What side of the bed do you sleep?

Is your SO on your left as you lay down or on your right?

My DH is on my left. Although some nights i get in and he's all over the bed. I normally say "Shmoo stop doing starfishes and budge over" :laugh2:

He normally moves. And then i get in a warm bed. This Winter though he has been warming my side because he likes a cold Mattress. The guy's weird lol.

Guess i'd be on the left since dh is on my right.
I like a cold mattress too. For some reason i fall asleep easier when its cold.

I put we switch it up. Depending on where the bed is positioned in regards to the fan/air conditioner is where I sleep,because fh has to be close to the cool air source

Standing at the bottom of the bed, I'm always on the left. I've always slept on the left, even when it was just me. It feels weird to try and switch, lol.

We're currently not sharing a bed but when we do he's typically on my left and if not it's b/c he wants to be closer to the door b/c he gets up earlier than i do...

I sleep on the right side, but DH and I haven't slept together in a while.

This is the same way that we are.... my demented reasoning behind it is that if an intuder comes in they will attack him first.... Weird, I know!

DH is on my right (I think I voted wrong), I'm on the left of him.

If we are at a hotel or someplace new, I'm not picky. Wherever we lay down is good, but once we lay down and sleep there, that is are assigned sleep spot and we are not moving! I hate change. I fear change. DH wants to sleep on my side and mix it up at home, I either get so pissed or I start tearing up. I seriously cannot believe I admitted that!! lol

if your facing the bed im on the right... were like that where ever we go... i tried switching it up at a hotel once and he came out of the bathroom and looked at me and said "hey you stole my side no fair move over" and then picked me up and moved me :laugh: so i guess theres no switching for us lol

The funny thing is when you pick a side there is almost no going back. Even when we go to hotels I find myself going directly to the left side of the bed. Not sure who said I had to stay there but it feels like home. Teehee....I think this has sparked something I think tonite I am going to be a rebel and fight for the right side of the bed, wish me luck. lol

I'm usually on the right. Thats mostly because my side is the wall.. When Steve had a job he usually needed the alarm clock.

I agree with these. Except it's not so much they'd attack him first, it's that he'd be better able to defend both of us, if they came to him first as opposed to me. I'd wake up first cuz I'm a light sleeper, and I could hide behind him and kick him till he wakes up and then take care of business ;)

At least that was my theory before we moved. But we slept so long on our own sides of the bed when we lived at his grams house, that when we moved, I just can't switch it up. ....so let's just hope we have no intruder, because I think we both would be doomed, i wouldn't be able to defend myself and he just wouldn't wake up, he sleeps like the dead (speaking of...i need to go wake him up again for the 1 millionth time this morning... ;) lol)

Facing the bed, I'm on the left. When I lay down, Billy is on my left. So I guess I sleep on the right side of the bed.

I'm not sure which is right or left! When I'm laying in it, or when I'm facing it from the foot of the bed? In any case, right now I sleep on DH's left. In hotels it changes. I usually like being father from the door.

Laying down DH is to my right so I'm on the left. I'm closest to the door which I would normally hate but I'm closer to the alarm clock since DH doesn't work every day plus I like to hit the snooze button....lol

I always wanna sleep to right side, And I always used to do this, This feels great when he just silently agree with my little decisions. :)
