aahh I can't believe they are six months old. In part it is exciting because they are doing so many new things, on the other hand I miss my tiny babies :-(. I look at pictures of how small they were and I can't even imagine it, yet it was only 6 months ago.
Anyways, they are both doing great. Mackenzie is 15lb 3oz (57%), 26 inches long (61%), with a head that is still in 99%. Logan, my little guy, is 15lb 5oz (14%), also 26 inches (36%), and a head in the 88%. His head has really jumped up, last time it was like in the 55% or something. His head doesn't look that big to me. This is the farthest they have been apart for weight. And ahh 4 more inches and they will need new car seats, Mackenzie has grown 1/2 an inch in like a week and a half.
Both are doing great as far as milestones go, they roll both ways, can almost sit up by themselves, pick up things, can pass things from hand to hand. They are doing great with solids as well. Speaking of picking up things, Logan took Mackenzie's binky right out of her mouth earlier then rolled away (she can't roll nearly as good as him).
only bad thing is Logan may have eczema. He is broken out pretty bad, I thought it was a drool rash, but today it has spread and is all over. It could be a yeast rash too though. Well Dr. said it could be eczema but he would have scaly patches in the creases on his arms and legs. We get home and he had scaly patches in the creases on his arms.. I got him some hydrocordisone cream and hopefully that clears it up.
on another bad note, my in laws in still driving me nuts. And I think my SILs excessive use of perfume is what made Logan's rash worse. My MIL tried telling me babies/kids had to be rear facing until they are 4 last night, I have no clue where she is getting her info. I did finally stand up for myself though, she wanted Mackenzie and I had her (I had been at work/school all day and just got home), I told her no I have her. She looked at me in shock haha.
