You can really wear whatever you like and are comfortable with. Usually it is something light and flowy; sometimes short, sometimes not.

Here are some examples of beach style wedding dresses on OneWed's dress gallery (http://www.onewed.com/wedding-dresses/style/beach/).

Beach wedding is a little informal than church weddings so you can always opt for a shorter bridal dress. But if youre not comfortable to this kind of wedding dress, you may choose to wear long wedding gowns as long as you're comfortable with it. Also consider the weather, if you think the wind will blow away your gown and veil, you may try other options. Hope this helps :) Goodluck!

since beach wedding is more casual and relaxed a Hawaiian theme will work great. you could wear something floral and summery, but if you decide to wear something white you should opt for something light and comfortable dress.

Beach wedding requires a light sun dress style dress, remember to choose a big sun hat, of course, you must note that to use sunscreen.;)

Here are a few I looked at. Cotton is simple, cute and breezy...I actually found the fabric for my dress at www.shakatime.com...

in my experience, my sister got a nice long wedding dress, but it was very light and lacy. Perfect for the wedding photography near the water.

I think though it is best to have a short dress and just have a nice veil or something. :yesnod:

I think that a short gown is proper, because it is not only convenient but also fashionable these years. :)
