I know there is a thread for first dance songs, but I was just wondering what everybody is playing for the last dance song?

I played Sade's "By Your Side". Such a romantic and powerful song... I cried when we danced to it.

We played In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel as our last song. It was beautiful. He played it twice actually, and Manish got called away by his brother during our second "last dance" so my sister danced with me... http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l71/mariachachra/meandjen.jpg

I have no idea what our last dance song was. Our band played whatever they wanted.

I don't know which one of these I will have played last, but I do know that all these songs will be played:

"Angel" ~ Aerosmith (my fave Aerosmith song)
"Bed of Roses" ~ Bon Jovi
"Home Sweet Home" ~ Motley Crue
"Never Say Goodbye" ~ Bon Jovi
"Open Arms" ~ Journey (one of my fave Journey songs)
"The End" ~ The Doors
"Time For My To Fly" ~ REO Speedwagon (love this song!)

Our last sont was our first sone. By the end of the reception there were 4 couples on the floor and he played out first song again. I love that song any ways and it gave us a chance to dance to it again.

I requested 'Last Dance' by Donna Summer, but the DJ played 'Wonderful Tonight' instead. A nice song, but it was on my do not play list, so needless to say I wasn't thrilled. But I was probably the only one who noticed.

I was going to play Happy Trails by Roy Rogers and friends but it ended up being Walking on Sunshine by Me Me and the Gimme Gimmes.
