angry and upset

I am so angry and upset right now. This is not wedding related but I have to get this off of my chest. This new job I started 2 1/2 weeks ago that started out being very stressful and then I grew to like. I was sent by a staffing agency and it was a temp to hire position. I was actually sent as some of you might remember for another position in the company and they chose me for this one. It was executive administrative assistant to the president. Well the personnel service called my house friday evening before i arrived home and by the time i got the message their offices were closed for the day. She just called me back to tell me they have terminated me with no notice or any explanation as to why. :censored: Kim (personnel lady) said that Anne (company who hired me) called her friday and said the boss wanted to let me go and did not give her a reason and so she does not know why. They have continually bragged on my work for the 2 1/2 weeks there, gave me keys to the entire plant, bought me a new office chair and had me organizing the company picnic. He gave me no indication that he did not like my work. I am the fourth person they have let go from this agency in less than a month. I am due an explanation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:censored : I am going there tomorrow and returning their office keys and demanding a reason as to why. In all honesty I thought when she called me friday it might be that they wanted to go ahead and buy out my contract and offer the position to me permanently. I am so angry. My husband and i spent money this weekend that we could have not spent and used for other things we did need. We done this thinking that everything was allright and that I would possibly get to stay there. What I am most upset about is the fact that shouldn't I be due a reason???

I am sooooo sorry and I wholeheartedly agree that you deserve an explanation as to why. Good Luck tommorow and let us know what you find out. That really does not make any sense!!!

aww Treisa i am so sorry! That sucks big time!
You absolutely deserve a reason why they wanted to let you go. How pathetic is it that they couldn't even talk to you about it and needed someone eles to tell you. There must be somthing seriously wrong with that company that they have let that many people go in that amount of time!

Update!!!! I called the temp agency this morning to see if they had anything else they could send me on. She is contacting and sending my resume to some now. I told her that I had the keys to the company and that I planned to take them back today and felt that I was due an explanation of some kind. I told her that if it was something I had done that I would like to know so that I didn't do it at any other jobs she might send me on. She stressed to me not to do this. In a round about nasty nice kinda way she said for me not to go there. She said not to take it personally that it was them and not me. In fact she said the lady that had hired me offered to give me a good recommendation for the future. I told her in a nasty nice kinda way that I did not require their help to find another position. :censored: So I have decided it was no fault of mine (which I could not imagine it being anyway) and that I would and have the necessary skills to find something better. But I would like to contact them and tell them to stick that position and their piano's up their a****es.

Every chance I get. It may not happen immediately, but watch out in the future. I forgive things but I have never been one to forget. God may punish but he gave me the smarts to do it as well.

I am sorry this happened, but I'd take the recommendation, it sounded like a pretty big position and any help you can get will give you an edge elsewhere. Best wishes, you'll find a better job! :)
