Be honest, have you ever worn a garment and then returned it? :D

I am really a coward of all things in life. And, even though, I have wanted to do this, and I have heard from girls that have done it, I am always too scared to return it. I am always thinking that they are going to know what my plan was. So, I just keep everything and never wear them again. :bbconfused:

I voted no, but I have returned defective clothing after wearing it and washing it. As for as buying something to wear say, to a party, then returning it; that something I have never done. I've worked in Fashion retail for almost 15 years and to me it is stealing. Strong words, but most clothing retailers are not into renting. Plus these items can not be resold at retail if at all and the store takes a hit. Contrary to popular belief stores do not carry insurance for theft and stockloss.

I saw a whole talk show about this subject. The girls on there were scandalous about it. Blantantly buying really expensive outfits to wear one time and then return them. They had sweat stains on them and everything. I think the stores are cracking down on it though. I hope so anyway, I would hate to think that we are having to pay more for the stores to recoup their losses. :bbconfused:

I can't say that I have. I have, like Audrey, returned items if I have worn or washed them once or twice and it fell apart. But that is the manufacturer's problem, not mine. I couldn't see myself buying an outfit for an occasion, wearing it, then returning it. That to me is just trashy to do.

I've seen clothing returned that people have removed the old lables and put the new lables with the tags attached. It's a joke! At work they were talking about people who will "test drive" a truck and use it to move or haul wood or stuff like that. I amazed me what big cahones people have. Or what lack of values people have.

I am sure I have for one reason or another, but I don't think I've ever bought something with the intention of wearing it and returning it.

I like Brandi am sure that I probably have, but have not bought something with this intention. I have worn an returned a sweater once that I bought and washed how directed and it came out with two holes in it, I really liked teh sweater, so I was upset!!

I have never done it. I would if something was wrong with the article of clothing.

I have never done this. Like some others have said I have bought something and it came apart so therefore i did return it. But never have I intentionally bought something knowing I would later return it. I once worked with a girl who done this often. To me it was stealing and to her she bragged about it. My mother and father raised me to not steal.

I havent worn it and then returned it... I have issues about doing that. I try things on when I get home and make a decision on whether or not to keep it. Once I wear it, its mine.

I have but only because of a defect or if fell apart. If you can't afford to keep it don't go get it in the first place!

I voted yes, but like everyone else, only b/c the item was defective
