OK we have the baby name thread and I noticed some stated what they would or could have been named. I think this is a great topic for a new thread. I will start.


If I was a boy my dad wanted to name me Judd but my mom would have named me Joseph. And if my sister was a boy she would have been Joseph. Finaly she got her boy and guess what his name is lol. Joseph.

Then my mom said if she new that she was going to have one in the witner and one in the summer she would have named us Winter and Summer. I am SSOOOO glad she didnt know lol.

I think Nicholas said that he would have been Nicole if he was a girl. Some one realy liked the name Nicky I guess lol.

The other female names my mother had were: Justine or Rainy.

IDK for a boy...but my mom was gonna name me Elizabeth Ann!!!

If Joel were a girl his mom was gonna name him Treasure....let's just say he is happy that he was a boy!!!

My mom didn't have a boy name picked out for me because she was certain that she'd only have 1 boy and 2 girls because that's what she wanted. But my name was supposed to be Manda Leigh (pronounced Lay), but apparently when I was born I didn't look like a Manda, so she had to pick something else out right then and now I'm Jessica Marie. And my mom did have my older brother and then me and then my little sis. So she did get what she wanted!

My Mom & Dad had 3 girls before they had a boy. Each time they had a child, they wanted a boy to name after my Dad. So each of us girls were going to be Ross Sr. We must have been such a disappointment every single time. Oh well, I guess that's why we're so screwed up. LOL!! The reason she picked all three of our names is because the name Wendy (my oldest sister) was a weather girl on TV. She picked the name Pamela (my second oldest sister) and Karen because she just liked the names at the time. It was the 50's and those names were popular then.

Oh, I forgot to tell you about my own kids.

Malachi was going to be named Shelby if he was a girl. I don't like that name now so I'm glad he wasn't.

Amber was going to be named Maurice if she was a boy. And I don't like that name anymore either. So everything turned out for the best with both of them. :)

My mom and dad had a deal, if I was a girl my mom got the first name, my dad got the middle name, if I was a boy my dad got the first name, my mom got the middle name. My name is Melissa Caribou.

So if I had been a boy I would have been Wolf Michael. Glad I'm a girl!

Although all my mom's friends wanted me named Noel or Holly because I was born two days after xmas.

And now my dad says my middle name should have been Chicago, and so one of my friends said I could combine the two and be Caricago or Chicabou.

My fraternal twin and I never heard names if we were boys
but since I am Christian (which also can be considered a boy's name)
and my sister's is Hope they said if we were triplets the 3rd would have been something like Faith. LOL!:p

That would be really cool. My aunt's name is Rebecca, and they have 3 younger girls. Their names are Rachel, Sarah, and Hannah. She wanted all names from the Bible, and her name is too.
