I am engaged and currently living in Portland, OR but relocating to Orange County by March 2011. We are planning a wedding for late summer 2011 and would LOVE to have it on the beach in Cali. I would prefer a house/beachfront venue versus your typical dining hall. I looked on a vacation rentals by owner website but wonder if anyone else has done this and had success? Any advice on the rules/regulations and locations? Anywhere along the Southern California beach is ideal. Please help!:crossfingers:

You staleness direct into explanation tides and the motion of the wet. If you near when the tides are lofty, you will score rattling little beach on which to get a rite. If your beach is a touristed beach, you may human to converse with lots of fill if you effort out the timing of screaky feed and any holidays in propose.

I'm a bit confused by this response. :bbconfused:

OP - welcome to OW! :) Although I live in Southern California, I don't have any info on beach wedding regulations here. I think it might be easiest for you to contact a planner (if your budget allows) in the local area who could help you plan your big day. :goodluck:

I don't know about any regulations regarding actually getting married on the beach. FH and I are getting married in Pismo and we're doing it at a hotel that is no a cliff overlooking the ocean. It's so beautiful I can't wait.
