Our engagement party is tomorrow and I am so excited! I even took myself to Macy's and got a new outfit to wear. It is a fabulous Donna Karen khaki skirt and a pink Ralph Lauren polo. I got my FH the blue RL polo with a pink pony so we kinda match. I know I am such a name brand whore. I can't help it.
Anyway, the caterer just dropped the food off. I am using a caterer in the city here because they are better than the local ones where I am having the party. So, to make it easier, I just had them deliver here this afternoon and I'll set it up tomorrow. It shouldn't be that hard. Regardless, both refrifgerators are full. My mom is pinking up the cake (1/2 yellow with lemon curd and fresh strawberries and 1/2 red velvet) tomorrow. And, my dad has a friend who is roasting chickens and hams on his huge BBQ that he will drop off tomorrow around noon. Everything is falling into place.
I'm so excited. It is going to be so much fun. :lol:
