I think they are good for reconstructive surgery after breast cancer or something of the like. (mastectomy) And I think they are ok if they are tastefully done, but dang some of these barbie dolls look like their boobs are going to make them fall on their faces!! And that grosses me out! lol

I voted that I would prefer a reduction. I wear a 34 DD or a 32 DDD sometimes. I am about 5'5" and weigh 130 lbs. 20 lbs of that has got to be boobs! I would like to be just a B or a C.
As far as on other people, if they are done tastefully go for it.

For me its never... I'm a 38 DD and would never think of going bigger or smaller. If someone else wants to have a breast augmentation then I think its great if it makes them happy!

Wouldn't do it. In fact, I did the reverse and had some of my breasts taken away!

I said never.. but I don't have any problem with reductions because of the health issues that can come along with your breasts being too large.
In my honest opinion, I think people who get breast enhancements, face lifts, etc (besides the above mentioned which is okay) are self centered.
Anywho, I think breast implants make you look cheap and fake.

I think they are ok if they are natural looking. But the weirdo Pamela Andersons of the world are just gross.

Did you have to go and tell them that?! I also hate it when they mention that Paul Shaefer and Tom Green are Canadian as well. Oh, and we won't even mention Celine LOL

I personally would prefer a reduction. I know that the fact I went from being a B/C cup to being a D cup when I started new birth control a few years ago has played a part in my back problems.
If you want them, I am not going to stop you. But, if you are getting them to feel better about yourself, I think that you should examine the reasons that you have such a problem that only larger breasts can fix first. Also, make sure you are getting them for YOU not to fulfill some losers Barbie Doll/porn star fantasy.
In the cases of reconstructive surgeries, obviously, you should do what will make you the happiest in the long run.

I feel this way. It is her body and she can do what she wants with it. I would love to just have mine placed back in their rightful places. In fact we were talking of doing just so the other night. I miss my breasts being higher up on my chest. lol

I feel that it is fine if that is what you want. I have thought about getting a lift after I have children and breast feed and they ruin mine...lol...but we'll see!!!

For anyone else I say do what you want with your body. I've known quite a few women that have had implants, some look good, some don't.
For me and my (starting to sag) barely B's, I use to say I'd do it but now I'm not so sure. I would be afraid of taking the risk just for vanity. But I don't know, I know I don't have the money anyway, so it isn't something I put too much thought in to ;)
But if I had breast cancer or something like that where I lost one of both of my breasts, then I might consider it.

You know after having a baby, my boobs got huge. So I would never want a breast implant, I would want a breast reduction. Also, like Treasia, it would be nice to put them back up where God intended them to be originally. LOL!!

I thought this was interesting.
Breast implants save woman's life?
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - An Israeli woman's breast implants saved her life when she was wounded in a Hizbollah rocket attack during Israel's war with the Lebanese group, a hospital spokesman said Tuesday.
Doctors found shrapnel embedded in the silicone implants, just inches from the 24-year-old's heart.
"She was saved from death," said a spokesman for Nahariya Hospital in northern Israel. The woman has been released from hospital.
Personally, I have no opinion on breast implants, if you want them and can afford them, then go for it!

The moral of the story is-if you go to a war zone get breast implants and leave the bullet proof vest at home. Big boobs are much more attractive than a bullet proof vest! :D

LOL!!! :bblol: And I heard that the bullet-proof vests are really hot, so that would solve that problem. But most policemen wouldn't look good in them!

I think it is personal choice, however do so tastefully. I wear a C cup so I don't need them any larger, however i would do a lift. Babies really wear on those puppies!

TAKE THEM! Ugh! I hate it.
I would love to have a reduction because i have such a hard time finding clothes that fit properly. All the dress shirts are tight on the top and huge arround my waist. Makes me crazy!
My only concern about having a reduction is the scaring. my SiL had a reduction and scard really bad. Plus she wasn't able to breastfeed any of her other children after the surgery. Plus she'll have to have it done again after she is done having children because the pregnancy growth has never gone away for her.

My MiL always complains about her chest size. She always jokes that she would take what they would take out of Kim or i.

I think they're fine as long as they look real. Several of my friends have implants and they look great.

I do not care either way. As long as they make the person happy and give them the self esteem they are looking for...go for it!!
