What do you do when you don't agree what to watch on TV?

We pretty much agree on what to watch, CSI trumps everything. If there isn't any CSI on then I usually let him choose, he doesn't get many opportunities to watch TV with his work schedule so I let him enjoy when he can. I am home more so I get plenty of chances to watch anything I want. I'll either watch with him or surf the net.

I don't like to watch tv. So, I just set the TiVo to record what I want it to. Then I watch at my leisure. Sean is a tv junkie. Most nights he sits and watches after work while I entertain myself with other things. Very rarely do we watch something together.

We tend to watch the same things. I have my shows that I watch and most of the time he is working when those are one. He has the DVR set up to record all the shows he wants to watch any ways so we dont usualy have an issue.

Hugh absolutely loves the space channel - he's a trekie first and foremost but he can watch anything that is on that channe. I can handle only so much of it and when that happens, we switch the channel to DYI shows.

If we dont' want to watch the same show on tv then we have 4 other tv's in our house. Whoever had the one tv on first gets it, then the other goes into one of the other rooms. Mostly jerry goes. haha

We don't watch alot of TV but when we do I'd say we pretty much like the same things. But he sometimes like to watch the Nasa channel or the History channel and that often bores the cr@p out of me.

If there are two shows on at the same time or something I will usually let him pic. Often we will record the reply of the other show and watch it together later.

So we maybe argue over what to watch maybe once a year. And if that happens, we just go on the internet or go watch the other tv.

I have to agree with Melissa... I never watched it but now I am addicted to CSI... And I have him addicted to it to.. That's the only thing he watches.


So I guess that means we never fight.. I picked we don't watchi t because that best describes us.

This is us! We like the same shows, and are really laid back about TV. Most of our shows are "ours", but we have a few that are "his" or "mine", and we tolerate each others pretty well.

We don't watch ALOT of TV, but usually agree on what to watch..adn if not he usually suffers through what I wanna watch. If he wants to watch something and I am not interested I will just come in the other room and go online!!!

We watch OLN and RFD TV....bull riding and agricultural show..........other than that if it is remotely interesting when we finally sit down long enough to watch it we don't care....we have sex and go to sleep.... TV just isn't that big of a deal on a farm.

I watch tv more than Manish does, so that usually means that I have the remote control. If there's something I'm watching that he doesn't want to, he'll either sit through it, or go in the other room and watch that tv or play xbox or watch a movie or something.

Brian has his shows and I have mine. They dont usually conflict with eachother. Football is a different story. If I like a team playing, I will watch, if I dont I wont.

I'm the same. I won't watch football unless it's a team I like and sometimes even then I only half watch. But I have to say I love TIVO! Solves a lot of TV watching issues!!

It depends. If we both want to watch different things at the same time, we'll record one and watch the other. If one of the shows is on a basic cable channel, that person will watch it in the bedroom. This rarely ever happens, though.
