I have a 8 yr old nephew who I would like to attend my wedding. We are not close, Ive seen him a few times in the past couple of years. I asked my brother if he would like to attend. (he doesn't live with him). He said not a good idea. I said okay, no questions asked. And I still haven't found a flower girl so I may not have a flower girl and a ring bearer.

I asked a few of my friends if they had or knew someone who can. Then I felt funny asking. I might just do without it, and save money that way. Im just undecided in this situation.

I didn't have a ring barer. We didn't have any friends or family that fit the right age with a personality that would have worked. I had two flower girls that are my best friend's daughters. But they were only a part of the ceremony. They didn't attend the reception.

I'm not having a flower girl or ringbearer either. In fact, most of the weddings that I've been to haven't had them either. Noone will think it's strange if you don't have them. :)

Hugh's nephew is young enough to be RB but we decided against having either. Less fuss, less bother.

I am only having a ringbearer. I didn't know many little girls, so I just went with my cousin for the ringbearer and left it at that

My MOH didn't have a RB or FG and because there are too many kids in that age range between our two families, FH and I have decided not to have them either.

If it weren't for my husbands two children who were the perfect age we wouldn't have had either one. I dont' feel it is necessary, it is your decision.

I thought about it and read everyone's thread on here and decided not to have a flower girl and a ring bearer. My wedding is not going to be that big, just my closest family and friends. Which is great:D We'll save money and have less frustrations that way.

Hi,
Dont feel bad i'm planning to have a flower girl or ring bearer either. Both said that they may or may not be able to come so Ive planned the wedding with out them but if later on they decide to come i can always put them in

I don't think we'll have a ringbearer. We don't know any little boys, besides my friend's nephew.

My aunt didn't have a flower girl or a ring bearer. I think because we were all too old to be one when she got married. I was the youngest and i was 10 when she got married. Insted my uncles neice and i did readings.
I wouldn't worry to much about not having them in your wedding. You should have people you are close to in your wedding party.

We are having a ring bearer but no flower girl. All our friends have little boys and I am not close enough with any of my cousins girls to want to ask them.
