My worse hang over was when I was in the 8th grade, yes I said the 8th grade. Maybe this is why I dont ddrink much now, I got it all outta my system when I was real young. It was a school night. I had those C.A.T. test the next day. I remember taking a shower and gettign sick and missing the toilet and not cleaning it up. As soon as my head hit my pillow I was out. My mom woke me up the next morning and asked if I was ok. I didnt remember a thing until I sat up. I had to go to school but came home sick as soon as I could. That was the worse in all my 30 years lol.

I put "will never drink again" because that is how bad I felt. Interestingly enough the two worst hangovers I can think of were with my mom...LOL! One was when my mother, Crystal(nephews mom and BM), and myself went to Crystal's brothers bar and drank all night long for free ugh....I felt bad for a week after that night. Then another time my mom and I decided to go to a bar and play trivia all night long I hurt so bad the next morning I felt like I was dying...I know my mom was too but it was good times and you only live once ; )

I felt horrible. I think those times were what turned me off from drinking. :D

"Will Never Drink Again" Although, I don't follow my own advice. It was at our Christmas party. I vaguely remember a bottle of red wine and a pitcher of appletinis. A few days later when I was washing my clothes I got the smell of tequilla that made me wretch so I can only assume that was in the mix too.
I was in bed for 2 whole days throwing up with one of the worst non migraine related headaches ever. I know the night of the party I threw up in my own flower beds.
I have NOT had anything apple flavored since. I believe this was 2002?

i do recall one night that i outdrank some men for the sheer joy of it. at least i thought it would be joy. haha. we started out doing jello shots made with rum and vodka, followed by tequila sunrises, mimosa's, a few beers and ended it all with Jeihagameister (don't know how to spell it). i did outdrink everyone there but paid for it dearly. this could be the reason i don't drink as often anymore. ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I voted 'Headache & Bad Sickness' it was about 5 yrs ago I guess, at DH's (then FH) company Christmas party (this was before he worked for himself) The party was at a hotel and we'd gotten a room for the night.
So I had like 6 or 8 drinks through out the night ... I felt fine until it was time to go back to the room. I got dizzy, I threw up and I felt awful :buck:
By the time I finally got to sleep the room service we'd ordered the night before had come and the smell made me sick again! DH said he felt a bit of a headache the next day, but not near as bad mine was.
I was still sick the next day and had to call in from work ... I told them I thought I had food poison or something
Before this incident, my worst hangover was a bad headache ... but I woke up in my bed still in my clothes and didn't remember how I got home :bbeek: That was in my 'bad' days before I met DH though
I haven't drank like that again, though I still drink. But I don't really get drunk anymore, I just like a nice buzz ;)

I voted headache and mild sickness, but the more I think about it my worst hangover did leave me not able to eat for almost 24 hours. But I wasn't throwing up (that day, we won't talk about the night before) just could NOT eat.
I learned to drink from canadian college buddies though...the trick is to drink a great big glass of water before your collapse (or make sure you have friends that will MAKE you drink a great big glass of water before you hit the hay.)
A big chunk of any hangover is dehydration.
That said, we went on a bit of a bender last weekend, and the thought of tequila is still making my stomach flip flop. I hope that goes away since I'm a big Patron fan!

I said headache and sickness. This happened to me on my 21st birthday when my aunts and cousins took me to the local Country bar. My hand would no sooner be empty and then all of a sudden I'd have a drink in it. I don't remember how much I drank but I nearly puked on the table at the bar. Then they brought me home at 5:30 in the morning. (I have no idea where I was!!) My room mate put me to bed and then for three days I layed on the floor thinking I was going to die. I didn't puke that time but the hangover lasted for about four days and that was probably the last time I actually got drunk!! (I'll be 24 in October!) We went out on Friday for my b-day and I was still feeling it Monday when I went back to work! All the guys I worked with were teasing me so bad!! I wanted to die! (i worked with auto mechanics)

I voted headache and sickness, but I guess I should have voted never drinking again. The worst time was at a fair dance when I was 20. I thought I would keep up with Justin. Bad idea! I was biligerant. I was stumbling around and yelling. I was horrible. I don't remember much, Justin filled me in. Once I got in the car I got so sick. I was sick for several hours. The next morning was worse. It was bad.

I guess I've never had a hangover because there was no headache or anything... I got up the next day like nothing had happend and it was my first drinking experience and I had gone a little overboard.

I voted headache and bad sickness... Should I have voted "never again" probably but I can't...
We went out to a bar/club and I found out about this drink called a Kamakaze (sp?)... Triple Sec, Vodka, Lime juice. You could BARELY taste the alcohol and it was so easy going down.
Let's just say by the end of the night, my friend and I had drank $160 worth of shots/mixed drinks. I was so sick throwing up everywhere, then I had to go to my DH's parents house and I was so hungover that I could barely eat and they kept trying to force me to eat all this food...
I felt horrible for about a day and a half...

I used to be able to drink like a fish .... not that that is something to be proud of but I have to say that as I "aged" drinking hurt more and more the next day.
My worst hangover came after a visit with my scottish friend. My ex and I were visiting their home & we had a grand marnier after dinner and settled into the couch to have a good chat. LOL The guys went off to bed without us and we just kept filling our little glasses with the evil stuff. "Fill yer boots" she kept saying to me. Well, I did and she did and I don't think we moved from that couch until the bottle was empty. I don't recall what we talked about but it must have been good!
I think that hangover lasted 3 days. I was queezy, sweaty and nautious the whole time.
Oh but then there was a time with my SIL. We sat out my backyard by the fire pit, drinking red wine. Again the guys went to bed and again, the girls stayed put to drink and chat. We decided that it was too far to go into the house for every refill so we brought the box (yes 4 litre/1 gallon) box outside. We were heading off to bed when my foot found a divit in the grass and I went down (pulling her down with me). LOL We lay there on the dew soaked grass (it must have been 3 or 4 am) and stared at the stars (they were really pretty!) for about 15 mins before we hauled our butts into bed. I hit my head on the bed post getting into bed and the next morning while my SIL was spry and energetic, I was good for nothing!
Did I mention that I don't drink any longer? Ok well that isn't really the truth - I will take a drink but I am very very very cautious when it comes to drinking with girlfriends. I will stick to just one or two.

I managed somehow to wake up with a bruise that covered my whole entire left cheek, I could not sit for a week, well my friend said what happened was earlier in the evening I was going to be sick, so he pulled over, I though I was done I guess so he started to pull away and i opened the door to get sick again and fell out of the car, I remembered nothing, but he sure did LOL

A really good friend of mine spent the night with me and we started in with the vodka and orange juice....after about 7 or 8 we passed out in the bed. I woke up as she was crawling over me to try and get to the bathroom...she puked in the toilet and i filled the tub with my offerings to the porcelain gods...I have never felt that bad....the room would dip and sway and I could not do anything for about 2 hours but puke...............the rest of the day was spent in a coma on the bed praying for it to stop.

The worst one by far was the night before I met Eric, I hadn't been in a bar in 13 years but all us cowboys and cowgirls headed for the Deuce...to ride the bull and drink until we couldn't drink anymore....I danced with EVEYRONE and remeber being carried out by some good cowboy friends...I did ride the bull and that was where I got the bruise on my left thigh from my hip bone to the back of my knee.......they said I held on longer than 8 seconds and when I came off... the bull came around and whacked me flat on my face!

I've never had a hang over yet.
Usually after a good night of drinking i will make myself a pb&j sandwhich and have a glass of water. Or if i know i am going out drinking i will plan somthing like pasta for dinner to help obsorb it well.

i voted for headache and bad sickness -- because of the time that me and FH went out with newly engaged friends to celebrate. Boy was that a mistake we were all so happy and I guess i just got caught up in it all and started doing shots of different liquars. by the end of the night they needed to help me walk to the car. I remember only telling the bartender enough and he handed me another one not a good thing. i blacked out on the way home and the next thing i remember is hugging the porcelin god for the night and the next day.

I dont normally do hangovers drink 'agrees' with me quite well - normally!! A few months back tho Jamie and i went out in the morning ended up in a pub all afternoon and evening we cant remember leaving the last pub but we do remember moving on to shots of Jack Daniels at some point. I woke up in a dark lane not far form our house not knowing where i was and then thought hed left me there, when i moved i realised he was asleep next to me so i woke him and we stumbled home. I was sick all the next day, shakey and a mega headache too, didnt recover properly for a few days!! xxx

there is not an option for "i will take death over this feeling" haha and there should be!!
FH doesnt drink, therefore, a drink with dinner once every couple months is about it- His big trigger was never liquor so its not like it cant be around- i just dont do it except for social situations. well he went to vegas with his brothers for a bach. party and it was my cousins 21st bday so i stayed here- We were really bad for ware - i have never not been able to walk out of a bar- and this time, i dont even REMEMBER LEAVING. It was all kinds of bad, and certain smells even make me quesy still (i cant step foot into the bar where i was - i tried, i threw up without even drinking) and i have not drank a hard liquor or shot or beer since- so basically one mixed drink and wine is all i have drank in a while!!
Either way- the next morning was her actual bday so i had promised to take her daughter all day- well the babysitter showed up at the house at 9am to drop her off (the girl who had babysat the night before) i felt like i wanted to die- i called my dad and had him come hang out with the baby- i wanted nothing to do with spongebob and his square pants as my niece so REPEATIVILY WANTED TO WATCH!! it was the worst- i have never wanted to hit a kid, but i really just was BEGGING her to stop talking! She wound up rubbing my forehead and saying 'i lub u auntie- want medcin?" for like an hour- bless her little heart!!!

:snide: I was at a birthday party at a club, and I had one sex on the beach and about 5 apple martinies. I tasted more of the apple than the Martini.....so I started to "down" them. Fortunately for me fh knew as I was going to be there...so he took it upon himself to check on me! I'm glad he did. I had to go to the bathroom so bad, so we drove across the street from the club and found a gas station with a unisex restroom. My poor hunny had to hold me up so I wouldnt sit on the toilet seat. Then when we got home he ran my shower water and....had to bathe me! YES! HORRIBLE i know!!! I woke up the next morning sick, with a headach, bruises from when he says I fell out the bed. The bad part is I had to work that morning. That was about 2 yrs ago, and I never had that much to drink since!

Oh man, the worst was the first time I ever got drunk. I was 16 years old, parents were out of town and FH and I decided to raid the booze cabinet. He was mixing me the most horrid drinks (like strawberry kiwi gatarade and peach schnopps and gin) :gurn:.
Needless to say, I threw up during the night, I guess I was alter enough to turn my body over the bed, but it was still extremely dangerous. I was hungover the whole next day and probably still drunk.
Gotta say at my BM's bachelorette party. I usually drink a bottle of water with 3 ibuprophen before I go to bed when I drink. Well, I spaced on it and I got sooooo dehydrated that the next morning I drank about 8 bottles of water and (sorry if this is too specific) none of it came out until 3pm that day (after getting up at 7am). I didn't even throw up, although I tried. I'll have to say, I haven't made that mistake since, and I don't plan on making it again! Water is your friend when you're drinking! I learned the hard way.
