Wedding Album!

After almost 3 years, I made an album of our wedding pictures!

I made a honeymoon scrapbook as soon as we got back home, but by the time we got our pro wedding pics back...I was all scrapbooked out so I just put them in a regular slip the picture in kind of album. Then I just never wanted to spend the money to get all of the wonderful scrapbook-y wedding stickers, ribbons, etc to make an actual scrapbook. Well, I got a code to get a free album on Shutterfly so I used it for our wedding pics! I was really short on time and didn't have the highest resolution pics since I had to pull them off of facebook (the originals were on my other comp) so I couldn't do any full page big pictures, but it's better than what I had before!

Looking back at all of these pictures was a nice stroll down memory lane!

That is so cool Keely! I have all the stuff sitting here to make my wedding scrapbook, but haven't even ordered the pictures yet! Do you order the book then? Is it expensive?

Ohhh, it's beautiful! I never even considered having an album of prints from my wedding, but a book like this is making me re-think! Does it come as a printed book, like a hardcover with the pages printed flat?

Yeah, I ordered it as a hardcover book. You can get softcover, padded hardcover, etc. This one is 8x8 because that's what the deal I had included, but they have them in bigger sizes as well.

It is so easy to do and there are a lot of options! I actually really enjoy scrapbooking so this took away some of that enjoyment of the creative process, but it was quick, easy, and pretty inexpensive! I paid $15 for it including shipping, but without the deal I had I think it would have been around $30 - $40ish.

I'm so glad that I got this done. I knew that I would never take the time to sit down and scrapbook wedding things now that my life is baby-centric and I'll be doing kiddo scrapbooks from now until the end of time. :lafhard:

Oh and most of the wording in the book are lyrics from the various songs during our ceremony. I absolutely loved the music choices that we made for the wedding so I incorporated those meaningful lyrics into the book. I think that's my favorite part!!

That looks fantastic Keely! I made one for my grandparents, grandmother, and DH's aunt with all the pictures from the wedding. But yours is so awesome compared to mine. I love all the quotes and such that you put in there.

I LOVE Shutterflys albums. I also just got a coupon for a free one (another one!) and made one of our honeymoon pictures. I love the way it came out.

Wow that is not that bad at all price-wise! You are right though, I'm afraid it would take away some of the fun of scrapbooking, but I totally understand why you did it with Paisley! Either way, I am now ordering all my pictures for my scrapbook! lol

I am addicted to making photo books!!! I use Shutterfly all the time for albums! I recently made photo books of the twins' NICU stay. I also have albums of our honeymoon and our new house. For our wedding album, I used MyPublisher.com and I'm currently working on books with the twins' professional pics since I have a coupon for My Publisher. Shutterfly sends out lots of good deals to DH's email address (but not mine for some reason) so I have gotten most of our photo books from them for free or really cheap!
