I consider myself a Democrat, but I do have Republican leanings. But I also don't care for politics at all. :D

Honestly, I am registered as an Independent. It sucks around election time because ever yahoo in the free world calls for your support or knocks on your door. But that is why I have a peep hole and caller ID.

I have voted for both Democratic and Republican candidates. There are both Democrats and Republicans that I would rather claw my eyes out than vote for. I have worked on poliitical campaigns for both Democrats and Republicans on state and national levels. (Deomcrats have a more relaxed and fun atmosphere but Republicans have better election night parties.) I have only had the priviledge to work on a professional level with Democrats. It was a wonderful experience to do so.

But let's face facts. You all know that I am exceptionally liberal. I do wish the Democratic Party would pull their heads out of the asses and become once again become the party of Roosevelt and Clinton not the party of inner squabbles, inabilities, and fence sitters.

Who cares?
AS I am a Canadian. I'm actually kind of thankful that politics aren't as heavy here as they seem to be in the States...I hate politics..it bores me to death to be honest! lol.

I am very conservative, especially when it comes to social issues. I am not saying that I would never vote for a Democrat. I have not ever, but I'm not going to say it would never happen. It seems a lot of times we are forced to just pick the lesser of two evils, and in that case I usually go with the Republican. I am interested in politics. I would like to learn more about it. I consider myself semi-informed. I would like to be more informed. My parents, especially my dad, is very much informed. His views are so far to the right that he would fall off the line if it went any further. My mom is also a Republican, but a bit more liberal than than he is. I am not as conservative as my father, but not as liberal as my mother.

I voted Independent because I am neither Democrat nor a Repulican.

I am very big on politics, it's the big thing that my husband and I are involved in. I am actually a Constitutionalist though.

I mainly vote Republican though because I am conservative and most always the republicans share the same views as I do.

I would consider voting for a Democrat... a REAL democrat though, none of this extremist bs we deal with like Ted Kennedy and the Terrible Twosome (the Clintons).

As Larry Elders would say, "Democrats and Republicans are the same beast but with a different rhetoric."

I can't stand either party... They have both drifted away from what they used to be.

Hmmm makes me wonder if it's just us two that don't give a rat's ......

When it comes to elections in Canada there are at least 3 if not more choices. We have the Liberals, the Conservatives, the New Democratic Party, the Green Party, the Bloc Quebecois, the Marijuana party ....

To be honest, I have flip flopped over the years between the first two (depending on our riding's candidate's platform & promises for our area). That said, I am always disappointed with whatever party gets elected .... in my opinion, they all become one and the same once they are in office.

That's how I feel with the current people in our white house, congress, and senate.

They all seem the same to me.. the only difference being that D or R after their names.

I don't really care about politics at all but my voters card says Rep. Only because my mom is (dad is dem.) but I still don't really understand what each believes or whatever. So now I consider myself Independent and that's what I voted.

I vote for who I think is the better candidate, it doesn't matter to me what party they are. In general I guess I tend to agree more along the lines of a Democrat or Independent, but I don't fully agree with the views of any of them.
