Hello,

I know that most of us who are on a tighter budget sometimes have a hard time picking a beautiful and spacious place to actually host the wedding. When I first started looking around on-line, I found very beautiful places but only for very large amounts. My fiance and I are looking to spend (ballpark) around $1500 or less on the entire wedding dis-including the cost of my wedding ring set and his band. So, this means that for photography, dresses, catering, decorations and flowers we only have a budget of $1500. Today I got on-line and researched vineyards in my area. Can you believe that that when I spoke to the woman who owned the place she basically told me that I can have the grounds to myself and the (60 people)attendees from the Fri-Sun of the weekend of my wedding all for $300?! I'd have to pay only a $75 deposit fee to secure my date and pay the remaining $225 on the day of. She also quoted me prices for the caterer that they require you to have which wasn't bad either. She had suggestions for other things such as photographers and etc but they only require you to use the caterer.
The pictures on the website were awesomely romantic also; I'll be going to visit and talk more about it with her soon.
Has anyone else used/thought about using a vineyard? what were you experiences?

I went to a wedding at the Ciconne Vineyard (Madonna's family owns it) in Michigan, it was gorgeous! It was such a unique setting and so pretty, I have no idea on the costs, but I think it is a great idea!!

Wow! For only $300 that sounds amazing! I have always envisioned a beach setting wedding but having thr reception on the beach wasn't going to be cheap and the noise control also did not permit loud music over 10 pm. This vineyard idea sounds beautiful and within our budget. I will definitely look into it. Goodluck!

I've considered a vineyard wedding but didn't know any specifics, especially what I wanted. Trying to do it on a budget as well which has been difficult.
