I tend to get talkative when I drink ... but I get that way when I am in a good mood and around good people anyway
DH is no fun, he is a quiet drinker :p But he puts up with me, so I guess I can't complain too much ;)

I voted I don't drink... I'll have a fuzzy navel once in awhile, but I have an extremely low tolerance for alcohol, so I've really never been drunk. I can even feel the alcohol when I start drinking a wine cooler. The one time I got a really good buzz going, I got a hangover that lasted for three days... so I try to keep the amount I drink to a very small amount (when I do, which is like twice a year, haha).
Oh yeah... I'll add that when I do drink, even a little, I get a little bit more carefree/talkative.. but not too much.

I voted "other" because I tend to get more extroverted, maybe brave? I'm not necessarily shy normally, but not that interested in going out to meet new people, but I tend to talk up new people more when I'm tipsy.

Lol! This is fun. I voted that I get talkative. I also get very loud. I just don't have control over how loud I talk... lol! Yes, I am one of those girls. I like to dance as well... I don't really want to dance when I am sober but I love dancing when I drink.

I hardly ever drink, and I don't think I've been drunk for 5-6 years. However, when I do/did, I was the idiot on the table, or chair, or a bar or two , and I have no filter on my mouth at all.
You know those questions you are just dying to ask someone, but you don't because it would be tactless? Yup, that would be me:toast:

I voted other. :drunk:  Ron and I drink all the time, so unless I'm like totally wasted (which honestly doesn't happen often), I pretty much act exactly the same.
I will admit that the liquid courage allows me to sing karaoke more often than I would if I was sober. So can I make my vote "musical"?
ETA - Is it bad if I admit that I'm tipsy as I write this? :giggle:

I got stopped by the Police once in the car. They asked when i last had a drink. "January 7th 1999" was my reply. It was my 30th Birthday and i got bladdered. It was only through a Video the next day that i remembered half and a quarter of what i got up to. I get very silly and come out with more daft stuff than i do when sober.
Hence i hardly drink now.

I get a combination of talkative, silly and giddy...and unfortunately, kind of stupid. I don't like drinking because it takes me about 3 days to recover and its just not worth it. Especially now that I have babies - they would never let me sleep and nurse a hangover. But drinking definitely makes me have more courage, I'm normally a very shy person.

I get talkative and outgoing. When I'm drunk, everyone is my best friend and I'll walk up to whomever and say whatever I think. It's horrifying!

I voted Giddy. I cannot stop laughing! I laugh at everything and anything. It kind of goes along with being silly, but it's just so HAPPY. I roll on the floor, I yell things and I get SO loud. I'm loud and giggly anyway in a social setting so this just amplifies it!

I've only ever been drunk once. I think I get silly, but I really don't remember. Now I only have one or two drinks. And even that is rare, unless it's a glass of wine.

After about three drinks (which is all it takes) I become Giggles McGee. And I talk a lot and am most likely to become uber chatty and goofy.
LOL Gwen!! :lafhard: There for about 2 years I had a bff that I would get pretty tipsy with, among other things, when we went out almost every weekend. Free kegs at local concerts and shows...yep, that's where it was at!! I don't drink nearly as much anymore. When I do drink, I turn into one talkative gal. Then there's a point where I get pretty silly.

I voted giddy because that is usualy how I get. I cannot drink SoCo anymore because it makes me cry and whine...it's awful. everything else makes me happy, weird

I voted talkative I think - but I should have picked "other"...ummm i get rather ho*ny..... haha idk if I can type the word and not get screamed at lol.. That's why I don't get drunk unless I have someone with me to make sure I don't do something stupid. I ended up going home with one of the officers during a spaghetti dinner a couple years ago and while we had a rather crazy interesting night....(between throwin up and him bathing me...) I would still rather not re-visit that night ever again!!! Luckily that officer has more respect for me then I had for myself b/c to this day when ppl ask about it we both swear that other then me puking the whole night -- NOTHING HAPPENED...I'm sure people don't believe us but it's our story and we're stickin to it!

I'm very talkative and fun when I'm drunk. I also LOVE to dance. I don't like to dance when I'm sober, but when I'm drunk I love it. That's probably the reason why I enjoyed our semi-formal dances at college more when I was drunk then when I was sober, and there were more drunk ones then sober.

I tell everyone how much I love them... I am constantly apologizing for the fact that what I'm saying isn't making much sense... and I tell secrets.

and I tell secrets.
I do that too! But only my own secrets, never anyone else's. And if it's context dependent, not like a "DID YOU KNOW?!?!" but things I'd keep quiet otherwise, :P

I either get sleepy or giggly. I'm not terribly entertaining.

I've actually never been drunk (I've drank... but more like Mikes Lemonade, wine (white) etc. and never enough to be drunk) so I'm not really sure how I would act. My guess is I would be talkative seeing as I am already a talker lol

I literally can not stop laughing when I'm drunk. Even if soemthing isn't funny, I'll just sit there laughing.

I get giddy and talkative but normally keep it under control unless I've had WAY to much to drink IE my bachlorette party and then I'm a mad woman. I get grabby:boggle: lol my BFF knows to stay out of arms reach when I get like that. Thankfully I haven't gotten that way since my bachlorette party. Maybe I got it ALL out of my system:lafhard:

I just saw this now, but its a lot of fun reading!!
I don't think I do much out of the ordinary, but I just do it to the extreme. Like I love to dance and sing, talk and laugh, I'm also extremely loud as are my friends. I'm surprised nobody has called the cops on us at 3am in the morning. Oh and I'm absolutely obsessed with taking pictures while drunk, most of which I had no clue I took.
My husband on the otherhand is normally a very chill and not loud/outgoing person. He is not a big drinker, but when he is drunk, he is the complete opposite, its hilarous!

I have no earthly idea, but I think if I ever was, I'd probably be a quiet drunk. I don't drink. I'm afraid if I even sniffed the cork of a wine bottle I'd probably get tipsy. Heh.

When I was 17, I made up this joke about a deer. I think it is the most hilarious joke ever, but absolutely no one else on this planet thinks it is funny. When I get drunk, I tell this joke. Repeatedly. And loudly. To everyone- cab drivers, random people walking past me, the homeless guy who sleeps on the park bench, bar tenders, etc.
And then, when they look at me like 'wtf?' I launch into a looooong explanation as to why my joke is funny. Loudly. Repeatedly. In great detail. Even though I am fully aware that the next morning, I will be filled with shame at the memory of doing this, I still do it every single time.
The joke is so funny though! I can't believe no one else gets it.

Um...
Ok. But remember, you asked for it....
Why did the deer headbutt the man?
Because it had antlers!
And because I can hear the crickets chirping from here, let me explain to you why that is funny. You see, deer have really small heads. So if they didn't have antlers, they wouldn't bother headbutting anyone- there would be no point! One could walk up to you and headbutt you for hours and you could just push it away and feed it a carrot or whatever, and everything would be fine. So they only headbutt people because they have antlers . When I'm drunk, I keep explaining this point, complete with demonstrations until I get a pretend chuckle. It's bad. It's why I don't drink much.
